Always friendly and well maintain store. Staff helpful and of course a Starbucks on location.
Great kids area with books and toys.
Lots of parking and on the less busy side of 130^th.
Books and magazine plentiful.

Excellent customer service here. Shortly after walking in I was asked if I needed any help. The staff member took me to the section where the book should be only to find that they had changed the section. She took me over to a computer and looked up the new section. Once she had found it for me she also let me know that there was a new edition coming out in the next month so I may want to wait to have the most current information. I’m not that picky so I grabbed the one they had and went on my way.

Staff here are very friendly & willing to help, without being on top of you & leaving you wondering if you have a potential stalker situation.
Store is clean, bright, laid out well & stocked appropriately. Even the magazine section (which seems to be a mess in most stores.)
The kids area is amazing! They have done a great job to make you feel at home and as if things are available for you to explore. Great way to promote literacy in young people. :)
Bonus is that even though there are always other shoppers in the store, it never feels crowded & lines are never an issue. Great place to pick up last minute gifts of all sorts as well. They have gotten me out of a fair number of gift-​giving jams — we aren’t talking just books, people!

During my recent visit to the South-​Side I made a pit-​stop at this Indigo. One word for y’all: WOW.
Not only is this store MASSIVE, but it’s organized, clearly labelled and a true beauty to behold!
All the sections are impressively labelled and within the store there is an ‘Indigo Kids’ and an ‘Indigo Baby’!
There’s every book, magazine and literary work you could imagine, and there are the cutest little knick knacks around the store such as bookmarks, ear buds, picture frames, snack sets and stuffed animals.
I could have spent a good few hours in this store but I was on a mission so naturally I had to skedaddle.
One thing’s for sure though: I’LL BE BAAAACK.
