Excellent lunch and coffee and gluten free treats! We were 3 people who each had a different lunch bowl and all were delicious and completely different! Highly recommend the yoga bowl. And hemp and goji balls. Yum!!!

Tried this awesome coffee place on the way to jasper. A typical coffee shop kinda ambience. Food wise, their avocado chicken quesadilla is a must try! Melts in the mouth! We also tried the chicken burger which was good too. For beverages, maple latte and earl grey latte are good.

Love the breakfast choices and so many great teas! Tea 212 was my favorite! We spent a week in Canmore and kept coming back because we loved the fresh healthy choices. I had the apple berry crumble twice it was so good. Service was fast and friendly and they have good hiking advice too!

Delicious! Love this place and went twice during my 3 day stay in Canmore. Staff is super friendly and patient. Breakfast is hearty and nutritious and lunch is super good too. Not to mention the teas and baked goodies! Definitely try the huevos quesadilla for breakfast and the veggie wrap is a healthy filling lunch item. The place gets packed during the breakfast to lunch transition time around 11:30AM so plan accordingly. Intelligentsia coffee served here too if you’re not a tea person.

I didn’t want to like Communitea because at first it felt a bit too«hipster» for my taste, but it’s quickly become my favourite place in town, for so many reasons. The food is healthy and delicious. The chairs are comfy. The atmosphere is great for studying or working, and for hanging out with friends. A dedicated area for kids makes it great for families, while the rest of us can socialize or think in peace. Plus the staff is friendly and competent. Can’t say enough good things about this place.

This is my favourite stop in Canmore! The teas are out of this world and I always end up buying a few different kinds of loose leaf tea to take home with me. The food is also unbelievable. It’s all fresh and hand made. The menu changes regularly which makes me feel like they really put an effort into what they are serving. My only complaint is the hours! They are never open late enough!

The warm and welcoming vibe hits you as soon as you’re through the door. I can’t say enough about how wonderful this community-minded café is. They even offer free diapers for parents with little ones. We went there for lunch then breakfast the following day because once was not enough. I had the yam and beet quesadilla for lunch then the apple berry crumble for breakfast. While the portions aren’t jumbo sized the servings are more than enough. Our tummies were so stuffed giving us energy to walk around Canmore and see the town’s beauty. The café has a wheelchair accessible ramp at one entrance, unfortunately neither door to the café is properly accessible. You must check this place out if you’re in Canmore. Oh, and did I mention the tea is to die for!

My wife and I came here for lunch based on Unilocal recommendations. First off the mood was kind of what I expected, it’s a little coffee shop where you go up and order you drinks and food and then find a place to sit and they bring it out to you. We ordered the Pad Thai bowl and the dragon bowl(with added«free-range» chicken). The bowls were good with lots of fresh vegetables. The only issue is sauce, there is a lot of sauce. If we ever go there again I’ll be sure to order half sauce or sauce on the side. Overall it was good, it was worth stopping in to try, but in a town where there are a lot of great eats, we’ll be moving on to something else next time.

Fun atmosphere, very health minded, and beautiful views. The coffee is a bit pricey for a regular cup.

A friend introduced us to this place while we were visiting Canmore for the weekend. I like the setup a lot, café style. I ordered the sushi bowl with wild salmon sashimi added. It comes with brown rice, avocado, cucumber, carrot, nori(seaweed paper), peppers, sprouts, kale, and a carrot ginger miso dressing so the meal won’t be completely dry. Everything looked and tasted really fresh. The only thing I’m very disappointed about is that they give you 3 tiny pieces of sashimi. At almost $ 15 for a sashimi bowl, I expected it to be full of salmon. However, this is Canmore, so everything is already overpriced. Service was decent. I still would come back for the overpriced sushi bowl since it’s a good choice for a healthy café. Pros: — Fresh and organic food products Cons: — Overpriced for what you get

So glad we tried this place before we left Canmore. We thoroughly enjoyed the Chicken Quesadilla, Ham sandwich, and Dragon’s bowl. Good solid food. So many vegetarian options. Great customer service from a whole bunch of people. One person behind gave me a free cookie because I simply commented about how well she was arranging them in the jar. And with a smile. This is definitely Canadian service with an extra dose of smiles and lots of good food. Don’t leave Canmore without eating here!

After reading all the rave reviews on Unilocal,we came to this place for breakfast. There is plenty of outdoor seating facing the beautiful Canmore downtown and a huge indoor seating as well. I loved the vibe inside this dainty café shop — white walls with flamboyant décor art work and collectibles. Just the way I love it! We ordered a power bowl, rise and shine panini, café latte and coffee. The power bowl was delicious. Loved the panini and especially loved the way the cheese oozed itself out of the sandwich. Maple café latte was commendable! Highly recommend stopping here for a meal when you are in Canmore.

It has become our habit to visit Communitea Café every time we are in Canmore. The space is bright and relaxing and the food is really good. My daughter really loves the vegan Buddha bowl and we love going for the perfectly made Intelligentsia lattés and outstanding London Fogs.

Was in Canmore yesterday(May long wkd) for a bike ride in the mountains. What a wonderful break we took here! Delicious maple latte and chipotle quesadillas. Glad we stopped by — for the first time. This will be one of our favourite spots in Canmore from now on:)

I can’t believe I’ve never been to this hidden gem in Canmore! I guess I never walked off the main drag, and therefore never had the chance to stumble upon such a great corner café. The art on the walls was beautiful, and the vibe was very relaxed, with a wide variety of families, outdoors men, and tourists. The tables are very bunched together to allow more room for people, it made it somewhat difficult to get in and out, but not a big issue. I ordered the children’s quesadilla and a peppermint green tea and both were very delicious. The chicken in the quesadilla was real chicken, and the tea was flavorful and soothing. I will definitely be back again soon to try out more menu items such as their bowls, and to sample some more of their fantastic teas!

Had lattes there this afternoon. They were yummy, but the maple latte wasn’t extraordinary, like in previous posts. We were there between lunch and supper, so didn’t have a meal but the menu looked yummy. Love the name!

I’m a big fan of tea so I absolutely adore this café. I always stop by when I’m in Canmore or passing through. They have a large tea selection and everytime I go, I get a tea latte along with several loose leaf teas to try at home. In terms of food they have a fantastic menu with healthy, clean eating menu choices. I’ve tried many dishes on the menu and my favourite is the buddha bowl, which has brown rice, veggies, tofu with a divine garlic tahini dressing. The dressing makes the dish! It is amazing.

This place makes me want to move from Bragg Creek to Canmore. Amazing. As a Vancouver girl, I have to say, my standards seem VERY high compared to a lot of YYC Unilocalers out there — this place impressed the buns off of me. We had a salad, a sandwich and a quesadilla. All amazing. Great atmosphere, licensed, beauty location. Worth the 20 person line up on a Sunday afternoon — for realz. Spent $ 100 on food/drink and a french roaster coozy. This will be my ONLY go-to in Canmore now. I might even venture out there just for the food. Yes, I know I’m a miserable picky eater, but this was the shiz. Good for vegans/vegetarians and animal eaters too. Loved it. Faith in humanity who own restaurants in Alberta restored. Ish.
