Tea was great! Service was rude! The guy didn’t like my pride bracelet and was quite rude. I don’t think he expected to tip though…

Bubble tea world is probably the best bb tea place in this region which doesn’t say much. It’s an average bb tea place with average prices. Like most bb tea places its cash only unfortunately and because its one of the few places selling bb tea in the region you most likely want to do take out. because this place get’s fairly busy This place has some pretty decent décor though if you really care about that kind of thing.

We go to this bubble tea place since it is close to home, and they are open late at night. I normally get the passion fruit bubble tea with pearls, and it is pretty good. It is on the pricey side, though(over $ 4 for the drink).

This is one of my first bubble tea hangout joints from when I was a young hoodLUM. I have been ordering lychee green tea, green tea ice cream bubble tea, honey green tea, peach green tea, passionfruit green tea, and black sesame milk tea for eons. At times, I feel a little adventurous and order banana milk tea with pearls(normally, I don’t add pearls or coconut jelly, etc. I’m wild.). From the hundreds of bubble teas I’ve ordered, I’ve never really been disappointed. Sometimes the workers are not super friendly, but in all, the experience is satisfying.

This is a decent bubble tea place, nothing special. Its not one of those places i would go out to seek just for their bbt, but wouldn’t mind stopping by along the way. The parking is bad. Its one of those places you can easily pass by it and not notice it! Its on the small side and is a bit ghetto looking. When busy its pretty cramped. Overall its an average place.

Pretty average when it comes to a tea place, reminds me of tapioca express from back home. Parking was sort of annoying but drinks tasted fine. Can’t really see giving bubble world more then 3 stars, its just A-Ok.

Parking is kinda bad — it’s either in the tiny teeny lot or street parking. Bubble tea itself… used to be good until I had Pearl Fever. Rarely go here now that I have discovered Pearl Fever. It is still better than most places, but it doesn’t have the fresh taste that Pearl Fever has It is an OK place if you are in the area, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to get my fix of bubble tea from here

I love bubble world… They used to have green pearls that was the best but I guess other people don’t… The only downside is no food because it is small unlike the ones in metrotown and surrey… But overall I like going there because it is really close to me.

It’s true that Bubble World at this location is pretty much the only place I can think of in the area when it comes to bubble tea. I wouldn’t say they’re amazing by any means, but you know going to a Bubble World is a safe bet. You know what to expect as it’s pretty much the same taste regardless of which location you go to for this chain. Overall it provides this neighbourhood with a much needed infusion of Asian tea drinks and a place to hang out at. Although typically I wouldn’t expect you to stay here much longer than the time it takes to finish sucking up those last few pearls. They have however improved the décor and cleanliness in this location.

In the BBT world, proximity to your competition is definitely worth consideration. In the case of Bubble World, I can not think of a rival tea house anywhere near it which makes it the go-to spot in the Lougheed area. This is not to say that ig wouldn’t do well in another climate. In fact, with Bubble World being a chain, the name alone suggests a certain level of quality. In any case, the teas are great. Try the grape calpice with pearl. It reminds me of grape Kool-aid.

I’m trying to think of how many times I have driven right by Bubble World bubble tea over the years and made a mental note to go give it a try. After all these years I finally went last night. The décor inside is a bit funky — you can get your tea to go or stay for a gab with friends. There was a leak from their roof when I walked in and almost walked into the bucket of water(bad location for the leak). Their menu covers all sorts of flavors, tea, slushes, etc… I will note an unfortunate event though… we were not aware it was cash only and neither of us really carries cash. So prior to ordering my boyfriend confirmed he had $ 5 and I rummaged through the bottom of my handbag for change. So we managed enough for tea without bubbles. I settled on the Strawberry Green Tea, and my boyfriend ordered up the Honeydew slush. Both were bubble-less but delicious all the same. And I will also note we arrived there about 9:30, when we left the line was actually out the door! I will definately be going back, armed with cash, so I can try out a bubble loaded tea.
