Home Delight

This is a good place to browse and shop for reproductions of modern furniture if one is not too keen on vintage shopping. I’ve been to their Richmond and Coquitlam stores and they have a beautiful showroom with a lot of furniture to choose from. Some of the «décor» in the shops are hilarious! (I’m referring to the life size black and white horse lamps!) The sales clerks are friendly without being obtrusive. The pieces are a bit pricey compared to a vintage store but these are brand new items.

The delivery men who came to take the bed for repairs were so courteous — took their shoes off outside the door, and weren’t bothered by my irritating barking dog. Just received a call from Home Delight yesterday saying that they can come and drop off the repaired pieces tomorrow. Less than a week later and we’ll have our bed back. Seriously great customer service here. I can’t recommend Home Delight enough.

. When I mentioned it to a staff member she said the black one is her favourite. «More powerful looking». If I had $ 10k and a massive house, these would be my centerpieces. Beat that Martha Stewart!
With a larger and more diverse selection, including a clearance as-​is area, it’s a great place to shop. Designs aren’t tacky, quality is miles above Ikea, and it won’t kill you to shop here. No, it’s not cheap, but you do get what you pay for.
Service is not stalker-​ish, which is always a plus.
They should win awards for these horses though. Seriously hilarious.

Came here on a recommendation from a friend when we were decided to take the leap many young couples do: from Ikea to affordable, yet higher end, stuff that doesn’t scream «college dorm».
The service, quality, and design so surpassed our expectations that we wished our humble condo was bigger! The sales guy was never pushy, and was patient as went made several trips to plan out our new place. He even had some design software that is supposed to help with planning (not my forte).
We ended up getting our wonderful cream, leather couch, two «baby» slipper chairs, our wonderful square retro coffee table (with storage to boot!) from there. Delivery was so smooth (we had to pay for it, but so worth it), and they even exchanged a chair that was not to our liking. You don’t get service like this anymore, and the stuff doesn’t look like it belongs at Grandma’s. Love it.

Where do you go when you heart mod furniture designs, but don’t want to overspend (or spend your life savings and a clever sofa or coffee table)?
The answer is definately Home Delight, my new favorite furniture place!
I took a wander in today as I was hitting any store that I might find a suitable hallway table. I didn’t have luck with the table, but fell in love with a sleek white leather sectional, a white leather arm chair, a few coffee tables, and maybe a million other things. Biggest swish of the day was definately the chair, which was comfy and the leather was like butter — a helpful sales associate informed me that I was in the «outlet» section at the time, and much of what they have is imported from Italy. The price tag on this chair? Clearance priced at $ 350. Ooooh I want!
My boyfriend identified a fabulous matress, one of the memory foam your spine is perfectly straight ones, which I will now be dreaming about.
When I am looking to drop some cheddar on new furniture this will definately be the first place I go.
