XS Cargo

I like XS Cargo. I know it’s not everyone’s cup of tea, but it’s a great discount store with a wide array of reasonably-​priced items within. I’ve heard people complain about the quality of some items, but in all honesty, you have to be a smart shopper if you’re interested in saving money the right way. Do your research before you purchase items — especially large items such as sound systems and televisions. There is some junk amongst the jewels. Much of what XSC offers is refurbished (which, if you do a little digging, could be either a great thing or an awful thing based on the product), although most items in the store are brand new.
My partner and I have made several great purchases at this location, including stylish barstools, blankets, cutlery, audio equipment, computer accessories, and small appliances. I recently purchased a refurbished Oster blender and added on the 2-​year warranty for a grand total of $ 40 — can’t complain about that! To date, I have not had any issues with the quality of the items purchased at XSC.
Staff can bit hit or miss. Some are friendly and helpful, while others seem to wish that you didn’t exist. The latter is becoming rather common these days, unfortunately. What makes up for it, though, are the wonderful deals and coupons you receive if you sign up for XSC’s newsletter.
A great store. You have a lifelong customer in me.

Having just recently moved I’ve been on the hunt for different bits and pieces for my new place, and have been trying to do it without spending a fortune.
If you aren’t necessarily concerned with having the latest models and are OK with refurbished/​factory seconds you may want to give XS Cargo a try. They’ve got a good variety of products: furniture, kitchen supplies, pet supplies, luggage, electronics… the list goes on. I was able to find a few things here for $ 20 that elsewhere I was looking at upwards of $ 80.
This particular store is well laid out and easy to navigate, which I cannot say the same for it’s Bayers Lake sister.
And surprisingly the staff I encountered were quite pleasant and friendly.

What is this strange land?
We saw XS Cargo from across the street while we were eating at Habanero’s.
This place isn’t a dollar store, not even just a junk store. I was amazed by how many Cuisinart items they had. Some were refurbishes and some were brand new. A lot of it was just older stock. I found the coffee maker I purchased for about $ 200 refurbished for $ 40. I would have risked the $ 40 on it for sure.
C started to get lost in the electronics section screaming «IT SAYS IT DOESN’T WORK BUT I CAN FIX IT» over and over again. As many of the items on that particular shelf were $ 3 for speakers and sound equipment. Needless to say, he was quite excited.
We bought pet friendly ice melter for about $ 15 (Not too shabby)
We found that the staff were actually quite friendly.
This would be a great spot for getting pots/​pans for camp. Decent quality for super cheap.
