MKT

I’ve been to MKT a bunch of times! I find it a really cool/​fun atmosphere! I like this place because there is a lot of room. The bathrooms are clean, the food comes out relatively fast, and the servers are nice.
Tonight I decided to branch out and try the veggie burger. I am a carnivore through and through, but sometimes I randomly crave a veggie burger. I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was! Paired with the «fries supreme» it ended up being a really nice meal! They had the game on all the TVs and it was packed but not so busy we couldn’t find a table. I really enjoyed my time here tonight.
My girlfriend tried the mac and cheese and she said it was good!
The prices are decent and its a fun place to go sometimes!

Went here with a group last summer, the service was good, and I enjoyed the atmosphere.
Some friends ordered food and said it was slightly above average bar food, and I enjoyed my fruity beer.

The cheddar perogies were average typical pub food. The fried buttermilk chicken had a nice crisp batter and not soggy. The waffles were meh. We tried the pumpkin spiced and vanilla bean beer cause the manager sold it to us as Thanksgiving party in your mouth. Thank goodness we only got a pint and decided to share it.

I’m giving it 2 stars cause the only thing good was the food.
I came there today with my family as a last meal before we sent my sister back to Ontario. I specifically told the waitress if we could possibly be waited on a bit more as we had a only a bit of time to be there. The moment I mentioned that, she disappears. From my own serving experience if you have someone tell you that, it results in a big tip for taking care of your customers. She didn’t even give us the menus the moment we got there. My brother had to go get the menus after sitting without them for 10 mins.
Just all around clueless as to what her job entailed.
She was rude, ignorant and had to much attitude for her own good. She obviously did not learn her manners growing up!

Since my last review, I have been back a couple of times. Mainly for their nice patio, but other times with friends as well. The service has gone downhill each time I’ve come back.
First, they don’t split bills for large groups (which is normal and fine) which means that there is automatic gratuity added on. Usually that’s not a problem but the service has been so horrendous that it makes me wonder if they just stop trying because they know it’s automatic.
The last time I was there was with a wedding party on a Saturday afternoon. We made reservations so they knew that a big wedding party was coming in, yet when we got there and ordered our drinks, it took them over 30 minutes to bring us the beverages. To make matters worse, they waited until the rest of us got our drinks to tell someone at the table they were out of the beer he ordered. Food can take a long time and that’s normal, but it doesn’t take 30+ minutes to pour a couple of beers and realise you’re out of a certain time of drink.
Our food came in about 45 minutes and the taste was lacking at best. Overall, the service and quality of mkt has gone downhill drastically and the great patio can only compensate for so much. It was so disappointing! We let them know it was a wedding party, the least they could have done was to make sure that they weren’t understaffed in a weekend afternoon for a large party coming in.
