If you want to buy a bike, good luck! Kept you waiting with no intention of making you feel welcome. When you finally were attended to the answer was simply, «sold out». Came out, and my son summed it up perfectly, «what a weird shop».

Bicycle Plus is one of the places you should check out if you are planing to invest a little cash for your dream bike. This is a great store, however if you are like me and know nothing really about bikes, they can help you. Bikes can range anywhere from a couple hundred to a couple thousand. They can weigh a ton, to the point where you can pick it up with one finger. Tires, that is another story on it’s own. Are you going to race, mountain bike, tour, off road, etc, etc. I did learn a couple years ago to pay a little bit more for a tube, the one that does not allow thorns etc to puncture it. Also, there are a few things you should have with you when going on a long ride. 1. an extra tube 2. a pump and repair kit We learnt this the hard way. So go ahead all you bikers, laugh, to you it is second nature, I know. But just starting out, these are basic for us newbies. :)

I popped into this shop about a month ago. I was shopping around for a bike for my son so I decided to take a peek. It is a beautiful shop and for a serious biker, it is what they are looking for. For my son, I decided to hit up Canadian Tire. The shop is for serious bikers. They sell all kinds of different kinds of bikes, including mountain bikes, racing bikes and a full line of different accessories. It’s a great store to find just about anything for a bike. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted and asked if I need help. I really was just looking so that is what I told the guy. He told me if I needed help, just to ask. Great store, a little expensive for the average person looking for an average bike.
