Excellent location to come sit down and read after a walk but 25 minutes waiting at my table for only a milkshake is way too long

Nice atmosphere but the food I received was terrible. I ordered the chicken rice box and it was very bland and tasteless. It came with feta cheese which was a surprise — my fault for not looking at the menu closer but this chicken rice box was terrible. The wraps were nice though.

Nice location near the waterfront. Staff was friendly. We ordered a chai tea latte, coffee, and biscotti. There are tables near the cashiers, a big room full of tables and booths, and a second floor with lots of tables. It’s huge! And it has lots of windows. Staff was cleaning diligently while we sat and relaxed. The washrooms are big and clean too!

Love the atmosphere at this place. Perfect for hanging out with friends, studying or just warming up before skating!

The location and the view is nice, however I’m unsure of if they’re trying to revamp the inside of the place… It seemed a bit tired. I did like that the inside was spacious though, and the seating was quite comfy. The food menu was lovely, and the food itself was very good. The drink menu could have used a bit more variety, but all in all, it’s a pretty nice place :)

The food is pretty good, but I mainly come here for the waterfront. The Café is just an added bonus. This is one my favorite places to go to in all of Hamilton as anyone who lives here will admit to how gloomy the city can get. If you need a near-by getaway, come here and you’ll instantly feel better :).

My daughter enjoyed a decadent funky monkey waffle with ice cream, bananas and chocolate syrup. The grilled veggie sandwich was good too as were the chocolate shakes. Patio was lovely.

waterfront, you can watch people skating outside. The hot chocolate is average, but warm enough for a cold day’s walk

Sadly, this once nice spot has turned into kiddyville with the new addition of a «skate warm up place» the kids scream and yell up on the second level to the pt where the manager admitted they had to hire extra staff just to supervise kids(already broken items) and they’ve had to call the police. The expansion wasn’t needed IMO, and has completely ruined the space. I enjoy the salads /dessert waffle but won’t keep going back if craziness continues. They need to post signs indicating rules/regulations and stick to them, or expect to lose their core customer base and better hope the kids drink enough hot chocolate to pay the bills!

Sadly to say, this is a place you go to for the scenery and not for the food. Wasn’t worth the detour for us. I wasn’t a fan of the berry pomegranate smoothie: it seemed oddly flavorless. I mean, I’ve had a lot of unsweetened all-natural smoothies that were simply too tart, but this smoothie tasted almost like nothing. The strongest flavor was actually a hint of cinnamon. Three packets of sugar later, it was slightly improved. But yeah, quite the disappointment for $ 4.75. We enjoyed my partner’s mango raspberry chiller though. It didn’t look good, being of a suspiciously vivid orange color, but it turned out to be quite tasty and refreshing. We shared a panini and asiago bisque combo. It took a very long time to arrive, and once it did we thought it was pretty mediocre and very pricey. The soup was lukewarm! We definitely appreciated the lovely patio next to the water, although the loud top 40s music playing at the outdoor roller rink next door kind of cut into the relaxation.

Williams Fresh Café is a casual café on Hamilton’s sparkling waterfront. Their café has a lot of comfy seating inside with wifi, fireplace and warm atmosphere. They also have a huge outdoor patio seated right beside the lake– so relaxing and beautiful! They have a nice selection on their menu and I love how they have a variety of healthy choices. They offer breakfast, wraps, salads, quiche, pasta, hot pressed paninis, sandwiches etc. They also have hot and cold coffee beverages, smoothies, chillers, wine and more. They also have some nice decadent desserts for those who want to satisfy their sweet tooth. The staff here is helpful and friendly and very efficient. They take your order at the cash and give you a number which you place on your table in order to be served. The service is quick and the food is very good, all for reasonable prices! I love their grilled chicken pesto panini– hot pressed ciabatta bread with grilled chicken breast, provolone cheese, and oven roasted peppers laced with pesto sauce. The panini was fresh and yum! I drowned this with their fresh berry pomegranate smoothie which consisted of blended juice with organic yogurt, blueberries, blackberries and raspberry. The smoothie was large, creamy and perhaps one of the best smoothies I’ve ever had! This café is open from 8AM to 11PM. I’ll have to come here during their breakfast hours– those breakfast belgian waffles look really good! Overall, Williams Fresh Café is a lovely place overlooking the waterfront with delish food and drinks at reasonable prices. This is a great place to relax with friends and family.
