Took hospitality to a whole other level. From walking in to leaving, there wasn’t a moment I didn’t feel cared for and accommodated with everything I needed. The ribs were saucey but not over done and paired with the crispy mashed potatoes made for an excellent meal. Will be back 100%!

An excellent experience in KELOWNA and JOEY’s showed its hospitality! Located in a low-key strip mall, this restaurant was a find and jewel! The butter-like chicken dish is fantastic and the service superb! Loved the Kelowna welcoming level of service and JOEY’s did not disappoint! Nick and the entire wait staff are top notch! The ambience is reflective of high-class but not stuffy.

I was here for work for 2 weeks and after trying Cactus Club and thinking about the Keg I decides that I would spend my time at Joey Kelowna because of the food and the customer service and atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and welcoming every time I came in the doors and called for to go. I had a very special manager take her time to make an out of towner feel home, Megan W. She absolutely was genuine and warm and helpful with my ordering choices. I had the mushroom cheddar burger and devoured it in the car after just one bite to try it I had to pull over to finish it. I ordered about 5 times and even subbed out the burger for the BBQ chicken and that was incredible. The Chicken Alfredo was great a welcome changed from the over sauced versions in the states. They have a great rotisserie chicken that the make daily and I paired that with their ribs and it was enough for two. The ribs were good, not the best I’ve had but I’ve been to Memphis so it’s not fair to compare. I had the steak and grilled prawns and that was incredible and it came with something called crispy mashed potatoes that are mashed potatoes fried in a wonton skin… DELICIOUS!!! I loved the house salad and I got the poppy seed dressing instead of the vinaigrette most of the time. I didn’t try the desserts because I have been cutting back but I did want to try the fresh made apple pie and chocolate mousse. The other Joeys have a lot to live up to. I can not say enough about Megan and the staff at Joey Kelowna and the food I ate there 9 days straight for lunch and dinner and didnt have a bad meal!

Just finished the Blue Cheese Sirloin and it was amazing. Cooked spot on for medium rare. Fantastic food and service. Would highly recommend.

Very limited menu. Our waiter was awesome and when my wife’s salad took too long he did comp it for us. Nice looking restaurant in and out, but to me it seems like they are trying too hard to be fancy. We tried to order ribs and we’re told they were out, yet the table next to us got ribs after our food had arrived.

I don’t know why my wife and I hadn’t tried this place earlier on one of our many trips to Kelowna… but we won’t be overlooking it anymore. What a great dinner! The staff was first rate. I think our waitress was new and being trained, as I could overhear the manager coaching her after each table. That just showed me how committed they were to quality service. Then there was the food: I had the surf and turf with the sushi roll and tataki steak… It was amazing, and I highly recommend it. Not the best artichoke dip appie I’ve ever had, but still good(I think it was missing a little hint of lemon that others will commonly have). All in all a 5 star night. My wife even said the bathrooms were really nice ;)

The food was good and they were accommodating to our large group. However it was a long wait, and shotty service. We ordered a chocolate dessert at the end of our meal and it was a disappointment.

First thing, I loved how there are lots of parkings available. I didn’t have to street park or wait for parked cars to pull out. Second thing, great interior. The seats were very comfy. Dark setting evoke comfortable moody feeling. Food and service don’t even need to be mentioned because they are above good! I loved how waitresses took order and how they followed up with questions such as how everythings are. Food made me feel like I got my money worth.

The staff were all very interested in what I had to say, to the point where you’ll feel sexier than usual. Food was good too, good presentation, hard to screw up what they are serving really, so it’s nice they took the time to make it pretty. Beer selection is good, the bar manager seems to know his beers, so they will regularly have great craft on tap. Minus one star for not playing the new Mastodon album. Sorry, but it’s a really good album.

We stopped in at Joey Kelowna after traveling all day, simply wanting a good meal. After driving around for an hour, we finally decided to pop in here. We were very surprised to find a trendy atmosphere, filled with casual and dressy diners. Definitely didn’t feel out of place being in our casual traveling clothes. The wait staff was great! Attentive and charming. The two adults had steak and prawn meals, the mashed potato spring rolls were to die for. Our son had steak and sushi with a prawn skewer on the side. He was very happy with the sushi. All steaks were cooked perfectly! We will certainly eat here again next time we are in Kelowna.

The atmosphere of this place is good, the food was very mediocre, the best part were the mashed potatoes in the spring roll. Otherwise I ordered the Tandoori appetizer and it was mediocre, the special soup of the day(Red Pepper soup) was over seasoned and tasted grainy and off. The steak I got was cooked rare when I asked for medium, it was completely red. The waiter and service was good but for the price I expect better quality food.

I visited Kelowna for business and stayed at the Mariott Fairfield, which is across the street from Joeys. I dined here twice during my short stay and both times the service was great. The ambience is nice. The lounge has 3 TVs above the bar and lots of booths — which is perfect for biz travellers. Extra points for easy access wifi — no passwords :) On Saturday I dined with 6 other people. Service from Beth, was prompt, helpful, and friendly. On Sunday night, I dined alone. I should mention that i often dine alone and frequently in restaurants like Joeys, Earls, Cactus Club etc. My typical experience as a single diner is that I get forgotten or ignored(or at least that’s how I feel). My experience with Kaytlyn with nothing short of stellar. Kaytlyn is the reason I took time to write this review. She had a busy section with tables of 4s and 6s. She never made me feel rushed. She knew the mensu. She knew how to explain the food and she knew how to express what she really like about it. I can be indecisive about food, but Kaytlyn made it easy. She answered all my questions and gave excellent recommendations from the wine list and dinner menu. My food was good — well prepared and tasty. She was sweet and super friendly and genuine. Kudos to whoever trained her. I sincerely hope she gets the recognition she deserves. She’s the kind of server that should be training other people how to serve. She rocks. I’ll be back in Kelowna in a few months — and I will definitely be visiting again. PS. When I complimented her on the quality of her service, she told me it was the end of her work week, and that she was tired. As a former server, I can’t stress enough how impressive she is. Thank you for a wonderful experience. Supreet

I was pleasantly surprised. This style of restaurant is not normally my cup of tea, but my tuna club sandwich with a house salad was really nicely done. Salad was beautifully presented, with watermelon radishes, nuts, and dried fruits, with a solid vinaigrette. Sandwich was a good size with nice flavours and a fresh bun. Honestly, I didn’t want to like this place, and maybe it was a fluke, but what I had was good casual food done right.

My grandmother made a reservation a week in advance for 10 people on a Saturday evening at 5:45. We arrived to discover that Joey Kelowna is unable to accommodate a party of this size comfortably. Our reservation was split at two separate tables side by side, but separated by 2 feet of space and 2 booth seats that curved sharply at the edges and slightly away from one another. The effect was 2 separate tables along a bench with a large gap in between. Nobody mentioned anything over the phone during the initial reservation and this was unacceptable for a family meal. The hostesses were not very helpful, reassuring, or apologetic. One hostess stepped up and offered to put chairs on the ends of a large booth but without regret, informed us it would be VERY squishy. She also offered us a wait time of at least an hour for the patio. At no point did a manager step forward to assist. Basically, it was made clear to my family and I that this was our problem we had to sit at 2 different tables, not Joey’s. They also had a fly problem in the dining room. The flies were pretty aggressive and present in large numbers. It made it difficult to carry on a conversation without swatting at them as they flew about your face(I am dead serious… no joke here). The saving grace of our family meal was our server who did a damn good job of taking care of us. He kept us well-hydrated and went so far as to make a custom gyoza sauce for the three veganized lettuce wraps we ordered. Everyone at the table was very satisfied with his service. Joey Kelowna. You need to step up your game.

Love. this. place. I consider this place at the top of restaurants in kelowna that share a similiar target customer basis and price range. The servers are top of the line. Your order will be perfect and come on a timely basis or you will receive something complimentary or extra for the inconvenience. The servers are extremely knowledgeable of the menu and good at helping you come to decision for your order if you are having problems deciding. I have never had a server who didnt seem genuinely interested in ensuring I had a great customer experience. The food is fresh and consider this is a chain restaurant, the menu provides interesting and unique items. The atomsphere is fantastic. Outside patio is designed to make you forget you are in a parking lot and is intimate, and trendy. The inside is always bustling. I love sitting in the bar area. Joeys is the most bang for your buck for the price. Affordable wine menu.

This was my home away from home while staying in Kelowna recently for a photo shoot weekend. The servers were super nice, and the bartender gave me samples of all the good beers. They also have soy chicken which is GREAT as there are not many vegan options in Kelowna. Great beer selection(for Canada), nice servers, a great patio and vegan fare makes this place awesome!

We had a pretty good lunch here. I had fish tacos but they didn’t have very much fish in them. What was there was tasty, though. My husband’s burger and fries were good. In fact, when I saw that burger I was wishing I’d gone for that! They have a really nice outdoor patio and the weather was perfect for lunching outside. We like that they have bottomless refills of cranberry/soda because a lot of restaurants charge per glass. Calgary’s Joey Tomatoes has a crab & artichoke dip w/deep fried pasta chips and is very, very good but the Kelowna location doesn’t have it on their menu so I was disappointed about that. It’s so good.

Joey’s is a must stop on any trip to Kelowna, especially on a hot day. The deck is always the best place to be since there is a misting system which cools down even the hottest days. The food is excellent although don’t expect any surprises. My wife always has the fish tacos. The fish is deep fried rather than barbecued, but this just adds to the taste. The burgers are great and almost everything else that we have tried is good. Don’t leave without having the chocolate cake that oozes hot fudge(I don’t recall what it was called).

It was a typical average meal at another chain restaurant. I had the seared tuna salad and even with all of those interesting ingredients like seared pepper tuna, mango, avocado, the salad was quite bland and uninspiring. I think it had to do with the salad dressing. Also had the chili chicken, which seemed to be the exact same dish that is served at Earls. Coincidence? I think not. All of these generic chain restaurants essentially serve the same pre-made-in-a-central-kitchen things.
