The food is incredible! Have visited this location 3 times now and enjoyed each meal immensely. My only complaint is portion size, the lunch menu is pricey for the amount of food you actually get. Other than that no complaints I will be back again and again and again and again!

Wonderful food! I don’t tend to eat a lot of fish but I have to go back for their snapper dish. Unbelievable. I had it a couple days ago and can’t wait to return and have it again. Everything we ordered was good. We lucked out because they had good entertainment that played Cuban and Mexican influenced music. It was an all around pleasant night.
I have to mention their rice pudding dessert. Unfortunately, it wasn’t anything special. I think I would maybe charge a buck more and layer the pudding with whipped cream in a parfait type dish with a sprig of mint and a sprinkle of cinnamon. I would rather pay a little extra and get the whipped cream in there with it. It was served in a little regular dish that just didn’t turn on my visual tastebuds.
But I can’t wait to return. It will be soon.

My husband and I hit this place up for breakfast on a weekday morning and it was just great. We were both happy with the service and our spicy and flavourful breakfasts. At the end of our meal we ordered a second coffee each to go and walked down to the lake front.
The café was half full by the time we departed, an hour after it opened. Surely this says good things — especially on a weekday morning.

I have wanted to try this place out for a couple years and finally made it this weekend.
Had the shredded beef benny and they were delicious. The potatoes were awesome, super crisp and the coffee was nice and full bodied.
There are quite a few more things on the menu I’d like to try so you know I’ll be back.

Great stop for a casual authentic meal. The restaurant is quite small but has a little patio that is separated from the street and sidewalk by hedges, and great relaxed but intimate atmosphere. Cuban music was playing over the speakers indoors and out. The menu selection is a bit limited but they have separate breakfast, lunch and dinner menus. I stopped for supper on a warm evening and had a nice experience on the patio with a Havana mojito and the ropa vieja. The combined flavouring of the sauce and shredded beef was absolutely delicious! The service was fantasic — the waitress was prompt and very friendly! Prices are decent considering the location in an upscale part of town. Would definitely come back!

I’m not much of a drinker (I usually have probably 6 – 10 alcoholic drinks a year) but I have a soft spot for mojitos so couldn’t pass up getting one from an authentic Cuban place — it was amazing!
Had the appy sampler and it was tasty. I love cassava so those were done to perfection. Had the plantains and they were great but I think it could have been double fried (like I had it somewhere else) and would have been much nicer. I wasn’t a fan of either of the sauces/​dips but that’s okay because I had some hot sauce to make up for it.
I ordered the ground pork with olives, golden raisins and capers and it was soooooo good. I couldn’t stop shovelling it in my face. I’d get that dish any day, all day… every day.
The service was super friendly. The atmosphere was really laid back and easy going and the food was awesome and the prices were reasonable. Kelowna’s lucky to have such a tasty Cuban restaurant!

Nice small intimate, quiet restaurant just off the ‘beaten path’ of Kelowna. Prompt courteous fast, service. I strongly recommend the pressed Cuban sandwiches or the shredded beef. Reasonable prices also! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

This place is awesome. The owner, Cesar greets you friendly at the door, and like other reviewers have mentioned its like being invited into his home.
The food is fantastic, and authentic Cuban. Its light, simple, and very good.
They have great coffees and fantastic drinks.
Prices are very reasonable.
I highly recommend this place if you are in Kelowna.
Affordable, authentic, great owner, and a great local restaurant. Good spot for a coffee, beer, desert, lunch, and dinner. I go regularly. Not fancy but the neighborhood spot is not that.
