Ricky’s All Day Grill

I like this restaurant. Good basic food, service is good whenever I’m there. I order out for the Beef Dip a couple of times a month. Very nice. I haven’t tried much on the menu but if the Beef Dip is any indication it should be good. If you want a place to go for a good meal at a reasonable price, you’re in the right spot.

We were seated fast and 40min after ordering Eggs Benny and soup with a sandwich, I was very disappointed.
The English muffins on my Benny were hard as rocks, hash browns were dark brown. The fruit melody looked pitiful. My wife’s sandwich looked fine, but the bacon was overly chewy and the turkey was dry. Her soup had a cheese and bread topping that took up 50% of the bowl.
And to top it all off once I realized i had an uneatable meal, it took 5min to flag down a waitress. I actually looked right at one passing buy, raised my hand, spoke loudly and said «excuse me.» and was passed by.
Very disappointing.

Hmm… food…pretty good. weekend’s mornings are very busy… we came around 10.30 and we didn’t have to wait much, when we left at 11:30 there was a big line up. I guess the food is worth the wait

Wow just wow. Whoever they had in the kitchen the other night made me fall in love with Ricky’s.
The most amazing chicken wings. Skin was crispy and perfectly coated in their smoky sauce.
The steak sandwich and prime rib sandwich were to die for as well. Perfectly cooked medium rare steak and extremely tender prime rib. So happy my bf and I split our sandwiches and shared because they both were insane.
I can’t wait to come back and try some other dishes. :)

My wife and I eat a late breakfast here at least once a month, on our monthly pilgrimage to Costco. Sometimes we are joined by our daughter, a noted picky eater. In every case Ricky’s has proven to be a consistently excellent stop.
Today, however, they surprised us. The food and service were significantly better than usual. I had an omelette and my wife had French toast we are creatures of habit. But I am pleased to report that the chef working that morning isn’t. My omelette was perfect.
It is hard enough to make an adequate omelette. Perfect ones are entirely too rare.

Come here every other week (or so) with my boyfriend for breakie bowls, always amazing service and great food.
I am giving only 4 stars because of the service I received today while dining on my own.
My server (older lady) treats you in a way that you can tell she’s got the mentality of «ugh I don’t want to serve this young person, they never tip». The table across from me (older lady) received amazing service, me, not so much. No hi, how are you pleasantries, when I received my food and went to say thank you she basically threw my food on the table and ran off, it’s been 10min since I finished eating and I’ve been ignored. Do I proved her wrong and tip as I normally would or say SCREW YOU and keep my hard earned money?
Needless to say she has walked past me serval times and ignores my napkin on the plate. Now I’m annoyed. Won’t be returning for a Friday breakfast ever again.

Really warm welcome when you come in the door, Waitresses are very good and coffee is right away. The food was there before you knew it not like other places. And the food was great, the perogie platter is my favorite. The music was soft and not too loud, and the atmosphere was very going. Washrooms as was Very clean.
