Saw their booth at the Pride festival this weekend in New West and purchased two scoops of amazing summer frozen awesomeness. Great customer service. Prices were great as well. Cold sugar in my mouth = awesome.

This is my regular coffee place, as it’s the closest one to where I work. I’m there almost on a daily basis. The two guys who greet me and make my coffee every morning are friendly, professional and make a good latte and americano. The gelato is also really good — albeit a bit on the pricier side — and the pizza and panini sandwiches are tasty! As a bonus, I’m happy to support a small local business instead of Starbucks. Definitely recommended. :)

This place is located conveniently just next to a hotel and of course, riverside. If you’re able to get a seat outside you’ll enjoy the view(they have nice flowers on the patio). Inside seating is nothing special, it can get pretty hot, because of all the glass above your head. We came here twice. Once in the evening and the second time in the morning, just after opening. The evening brought us gellato that we were craving before bedtime. Sadly, I was a bit disappointed(maybe my expectations were too high, or it was just bad luck). As promising as it looked, and the assortment of tastes they had… in the end, all three flavours that I’ve tried felt like one. I couldn’t tell them apart. For trying a good gellato(but of course more expensive one), rather try Bella Gelateria in Downtown. This one is not worth the price in my opinion. The morning was more promising. The outside seating gets full fast(especially those with umbrellas), so send someone in for your order or you go in and somebody else holds down the fort(there’s no waiter service, or at least there wasn’t any at 9am). We ordered some paninis for breakfast and coffee. The line started to build up pretty fast, but the wait was not that bad. Paninis were good, had proper, tasty(not sweet!!) bread and enough toppings. They were warmed up, so it was a great bite to start the morning with. We tried Canuck and Salvatore Panini. Both were delicious! I would come back for them again. People seem to come over here for pizza too, but we only had two days, so there wasn’t a chance to try it out. Maybe next time. The staff is a bit slow and can seem unfriendly, but I’m giving them the benefit of the doubt, cause it was«early» Saturday morning(9am). So, the final verdict: if you’re hungry, definitely come in for a bite, and grab some paninis(or try a pizza). If you’re up for an ice cream, take a pass.

Great Gelato all year round, favorite spot go to in the Summer. They have a nice seating area inside with views of the river. Also have tasty Panini’s if you need a bite to eat.

This coffee and gelato bar has excellent gelato and coffee. But it’s best kept secret is the amazing panini’s they make. I tried the Gallo Special and it was probably the best panini I’ve ever had! The salted caramel gelato is my favourite there too. Next time you are at RiverMarket in New West, be sure to give them a try!

Delicious gelato flavors! Tried French vanilla, cookies and cream, and banana chocolate chip before settling on salted caramel which was amazing! Staff was not very friendly which kept me from giving this place a 5/5, but I would definitely come back for the gelato!

Walking along the quay on my date night and it’s so convenient. Great gelato. So romantic. The pricing is what you get. Fine gelato. You guys made my date so lovely. Thank you for everything. Keep up the fine quality. I’ll be coming back again with my guy

Very good location%) I just have cappuccino and should say they have good one, with very thick foam! I like! Next time will try espresso — this is the right way to check coffee quality.

Fabulous café. Delicious americano. Baristo Steve is wonderful person, friendly and easy going. Tre Galli breakfast is a modest meal for a modest price. Is just right for me tho maybe not enough for a hungry man. I really enjoy tre galli.

It’s probably kind of weird that I’ve never really liked ice cream. I think it has something to do with fear of brain freeze. Or that I’m more of a salty snack girl than sweet-toothed. I often walk down the chip aisle at the grocery store to see if I can make it to the other end without a bag of Doritos. But every once in a while, I find a place where the ice cream — in this case, gelato — looks just too tempting to resist. Tre Galli is such a place … even I can’t walk past that display case. Limoncello, tiramisu, chocolate raspberry, salted caramel, pomegranate are just some of the flavours, all piled up in whippy goodness. It certainly looks homemade. Sampling is welcomed and even encouraged. The limoncello was lovely and tart, and served with a chocolate wafer stylishly perched on top. I liked the nutty sweetness of my husband’s butterscotch gelato too. It’s always best to have ice cream with those who share! In the past few sunny Saturday shopping excursions to the River Market, I’ve mainly beelined to the coffee bar side. They serve a very good cuppa brew, plus lattes and mochas for when I’m feeling fancylike. And I love that they have Italissima brand blood orange soda — the same one I always get on trips to Bosa Foods. For New Westminster, the location is primo: right next to the waterfront boardwalk. Tre Galli has an entire wall of windows looking over the boardwalk and river, plus there’s lots of seating right outside. A coffee and gelato bar was exactly what was needed here for all the strollers and food shoppers attracted to the area. Tre Galli is bright and modern. It’s nice to have them here.
