The main things I might hate about this place would be the service being somewhat slow, and it being pricey for breakfast. Other than that, the food is amazing, I honestly love having breakfast here! Love their French toast and sausages!

Again, another USA favorite place to eat breakfast– VERY high priced. These establishments know Americans come in here… I feel like I’m being robbed– Smaller portions then the states. Highly recommend NOT to come in here–

Why is it that after leaving this particular Denny’s I just felt taken advantage of. money-wise? Paying the equivalent of $ 70 for eggs and pancakes. for a party of 4 is just ludicrous. This place is a hot mess… the front server was always MIA, there were groups of people in the lobby not even having been attended to. Looong wait times to get seater, even longer wait times to get your food, the food itself was nothing special. Definitely not steak-house price worthy. The coffee was GROSS… way tooo bitter even though we asked for mild. Waitress although not necessarily rude was not really interested in making it a pleasant experience for us and rarely came to refill our coffees(not that we would’ve wanted too but its the principle of not coming over to check on us) I never knew DENNYS was equivalent to high dining even if at a touristi-qi place. Too piggy back on what everyone else is saying. this place is BADLY managed and probably only survives because of the name recognition and the fact that most of the patrons are tourists. If you have no problem dishing out your hard earned money on crappy food and crappy service. than this DENNYs is the place to do it in.

I wanted some quick comfort food and wandered into a Denny’s. I really should stop going to any Denny’s. It’s really not good food and it’s surprisingly expensive — my generic burger + basic green side salad + coke = $ 20+tax. Wtf.

I don’t normally go to Denny’s, as it’s a little more on the pricier side for breakfast but since it was my birthday/honeymoon I heard that they do a free grand slam and we wanted to go. Honestly, it wasn’t forth coming for the free breakfast. The stars are for the food — it was pretty good. We were using a prepaid credit card and our server quickly put it through without letting us add the tip, so we had to do two transactions as we had no cash on us. We asked for two take out boxes, but before my wife could put her leftovers in it the server cleared her food. His attitude towards us made us feel very uncomfortable, especially since the mistakes were not our fault. I will not be returning to this Denny’s when I’m in Niagara Falls next.

Not bad. Again, this trip was made during my families trip in Niagara Falls, Canada. We arrived here around 11 Am and waited about 20 minutes. That is Ok. Sat down and our waitress opened up to us. She definitely seemed down to earth mature and charismatic . She had a 80’s hairstyle I think her name is Rhonda or something like that. Food was good. Had a chicken salad with cranberries and apples. And the Cappuccino, WOW that was good. Prices are fair. Men’s bathroom was clean. Saw another waiter who looked like the popular You tuber«Shane Dawson» haha :) Not bad.

Always been a fan of Denny’s ever since traveling down to the states. But holy, this Denny’s is an absolute disappointment! Over priced, over priced, & over priced. The quality of the food doesn’t justify the the ridiculous price. Every item on their menu is over priced! Even the bloody coffee! 3.59 for a cup. AREYOUSTARBUCKS? NO. SLOWSERVICE. Took A LONG time to get our food and noticed. Tourist Fee? lol what a joke. Overall Rating: Service: 2⁄5 Food: 1⁄5 Price: 0⁄5 Your better off @ fallsview breakfast all you can eat or all mac buffet!

This restaurant in a nutshell: Pros: 1) opened 24 hours Cons: 1) waaaay overpriced with an additional«tourist fee» 2) very slow service 3) very bad service 4) poorly maintained dining area 5) poorly managed 6) food not as advertised 7) disgusting water 8) did I mention bad service? My family and I went here around 8:30pm since nothing else was opened. There was only 2 other parties in the restaurant so I cannot comprehend why the service was super slow and really bad. Our server was nowhere to be found the entire time we were there. At one point, I had to walk to the kitchen to ask for refills on our drink. When she was around, she was very unpleasant and had no idea how to treat customers. My mom ordered the pot roast which was only roast beef with gravy.. no veggies as pictured. It also tasted like it was a week old. Gross! The lava cake tasted nasty… as if they microwaved the crap out of something frozen for a very long time. Mind you all of their entrees are $ 5 overpriced. Also, be sure to bring a water bottle because their water taste really bad. Horrible experience. Horrible food. Horrible everything. I really wanted to tip low but when she gave me the receipt to sign, she stood at our table waiting for me to sign the receipt. I put it down and kept talking to my family, but then she asked me to sign it now so she could close our transaction.. unprofessional! Stay away if you can! !!!

While we were worried about the place given Unilocalers reviews, we were pleasantly surprised. Maybe because it is November and off-season. The location of this place is in the main drag and there is parking available at the back. The orders were promptly attended to. The hash-browns were soaked in oil, but the cheese quesadillas were good. When we finished our meal, the bill was collected promptly.

The 5 stars is not for the restaurant. If you do visit this Denny’s please make sure to ask for Marcus, the best waiter you will find. He gave me a large discount and ran out in the cold and returned my scarf.

Where do I begin. I could start with the hour long wait for food, the fact that we had one of the most rude waitresses I’ve ever witnessed, the hair in the food, how much the manager didn’t care about the long wait or hair in the food. Or maybe that it was literally a million degrees and nobody refilled our beverages. Apparently it’s normal for them to run 45 minute ticket times. The manager added that it was the toast holding up our order. Funny. The toast was cold. Hard to believe Dennys could screw up eggs this badly.

Like other reviewers mentioned this Denny’s is way over-priced. The women’s restroom was a disaster. The toilet-seat cover dispenser was laying on the floor beside the toilet. Toilet paper, water, and dirty shoeprints also covered the floor. The mirror looked to not have been cleaned in days. I understand it’s a busy location, but I don’t feel this is an excuse considering the cleanliness of other busy restaurants I’ve been to. On a more positive note, my boyfriend enjoyed his breakfast skillet. My Country Fried Steak and Eggs was okay; although, my toast was more like warm, buttered bread.

Very slow service, burnt food, sticky tables, did not live up to expectations. Would not visit again. Came in at 10:20 pm on a Saturday night, was seated at 10:30 pm, ordered at 10:35 pm, food came at 11:25 pm and it was burnt. Half of the plate for my husband’s order came 8 minutes later on a separate plate as they had forgot about it when they brought our plates out together. The Santa Fe skillet was burnt, and oily. the seasoning is good but the rest kind of ruined the plate for me. I’ve had steak skillet at other Denny locations before and they were amazing so this is a disappointment. $ 40 for two dishes and tax and tips. Very expensive for breakfast food and not worth it at all for the entire experience. I just felt bad for all the other tables waiting for over an hour for food as we were eating ours. Even though it was burnt and half the dish was MIA, at least we got food. We were so tired we didn’t even bother sending it back for a re-make. Please do something about the service.

I should know better than not to tryst my fellow Unilocalers, so when I saw this restaurant’s bad ratings I didn’t want to go but the wife and kids were hungry so we went there for breakfast. It was my first time at a Denny’s and it is my last time too. It is overpriced simple food that is not good at all. I don’t know how you can make breakfast items this bad, sausage was very low quality, pancakes were bland, scrambled eggs just bad, bacon discusting. Unilocalers know good restaurants and it’s my fault for not trusting you. Last time. Promised.

It was a tasty big breakfast and the service was acceptable. For the people who think overpriced, you may just cook at home since you can get all of those from supermarket and pan fired at home and won’t go wrong. Or order something from the menu that you can’t make it yourself to make you feel the money worth.

«Eek! Methinks not» is an understatement! In fact Unilocal, you owe me stars as I rate this place minus 5! Make it out to: «Never again denny’s!» We walked in at around 11pm 5÷23÷2015 and there were maybe 10 tables with seated parties in the left side of the restaurant. I asked for a booth– closer to the restrooms– after the host showed us to a table in the middle of several seated parties. She said that the area I prefered, wasn’t available as they wanted to keep the tables confined to one area. Cool, no problem, as long as it’s a booth. The booth she showed us was right by the door. At this point I’m hungry and pissed that my intestines crave a grand slam from this over-priced establishment but nevertheless I obliged. When our server showed up, he looked like he was going on his 73rd hour on shift and was so spaced(or just being rude) to actually acknowledge us. I figure you can’t be «On» all the time– but for shits sake, welcome us to Denny’s! He seemed to have an attitude when my fiancé asked what kind of drinks they had, but, to be fair, I also hate when he does this but I’m not being paid for this– he is. Anyway, after reiterating my fiancé’s drink order, for what must have been like the 30th time– he meandered off to get our drinks. While he did this I went to the restroom to wash my hands and on my way back you’ll never guess what I saw: The 2 diners who came in after us were seated in the booth– in the area– that I wanted to sit in. At this point I’m incensed but my stomach wins and I sit down. Our server comes back with our sodas– no straws. I question the location of the straws and he says«Oh, you wanted a straw?»… *Pauses for effect* I don’t know about you but EVERY restaurant I’ve been to gives you a straw with your soda. As he left to retrieve it, and then walked past us– no straw in hand– we beat it! I’d had enough! Denny’s has had a bad reputation for its service and I can’t help but feel this was one of those instances. Never again.

The positive: we were a large party of 13 and we were seated right away. Our waitress was nice. The negative: our orders were wrong. My fiancée pancakes did not come until the end of our meal. Two of my friends orders were completely wrong and my order was«right» but made differently from what my other friend who ordered the same thing got. I ordered pecan banana pancakes and I got regular pancakes with pecans and bananas on top. My friend ordered the same thing and he got actual pecan banana pancakes. The waitress felt bad and was very nice but her manager seemed annoyed and combative when my friend complained about getting the wrong plate. Overall, food was ok but the experience was not great. Also note, prices are extremely expensive in comparison to Denny’s in the U.S.

Why do I keep wanting to come here like it s a staple breakfast of Niagara which I cannot get in Toronto(until recently). I need to remind myself, and everyone that it’s not worth it. I actually thought the fancy breakfast at the Old Stone Inn was expensive but Dennys price point is easily just the same. Not to mention the wait. After we ordered, we were told the food was backlogged and a 20 min waited. Seemed fairly reasonable, except that we waited almost 1 hr for our food to arrive. It’s honestly no different from any of the diners along the strip, but triple the price and the long wait time. Why do I do this to myself. Got the Grand Slamwich which was extremely heavy and sat at the bottom of my stomach the entire day.

Can you say E-X-P-E-N-S-I-V-E? I have never been to such a pricey Denny’s in my life. It was over $ 45 for 2 of us to have a plain old Eggs and Bacon breakfast with coffee. I mean if it was for something special I would get it – but that seems pretty expensive to me! Talk about a tourist trap! Food was ok – but no more than that — I suggest you go elsewhere.
