I get that this place is in the«tourist» area of Niagara Falls but if you want to collectively drive business away keep charging what you’re charging and I understand why this place was so dead when I entered. I recently started a mini collection of particular«You Are Here» mugs from Starbucks, the wider kind with silhouettes of the landscape, cityscape etc. So far I have Toronto, Chicago, Pike Place(original location in Seattle), recently my friend bought me NYC, my cousin got me LA and I will get Miami shortly when I go there. All the mugs I’ve seen are about 12 – 15 bucks pre-tax. This place for no good reason was asking for 20 bucks pre-tax. I had asked the barista why it was so much more and her answer was«this is Niagara Falls». So I guess that means Clifton Hill is basically synonymous with«rip off». I could have gone to another location but I didn’t want to bother… PRO-TIP: Say you’re local and they won’t charge you the PF charge(tourist tax) that is unenforceable but added automatically if you don’t say you’re not a tourist. A better tip would be to outright avoid this place altogether since I wouldn’t recommend buying bottled water here. Niagara Falls is not as remote as Honolulu nor should it be more expensive than NYC or San Francisco… ya.

This Starbucks is one of the worst I’ve ever been to. I proceeded to buy a «you are here» mug which had the sticker on it for 12.95. The person who rung me up, Jen, said oh this price shouldn’t be here and just took it off and said the total price is 17.54!!! I was like well can you please honor the price because the tag was on it and all she said was I cant change the price do you still want it. This place is ridiculous and overpriced. Any other establishment that I’ve been to actually honor prices that THEY forgot to take off. Do not go to this Starbucks.

Wish I could give this 0 stars! I asked for a tall(small) blackberry frappuchino since it was new and it was $ 6!!! WHAT! At any normal Starbucks that would be $ 3! To add onto that they took about 2 minutes to make it, and they didn’t add enough flavor and put WAYY too much ice in it. ALSO, their bathrooms were out of order!!! we had to go to a restaurant down the street to use their bathrooms! the lady at that restaurant was very nice!

They charged the cup if you ask for ice water. They don’t accept starbucks card. They don’t smile.

This Starbucks charges more than other locations. No ice coffee available the day we were there(it was almost 30 degrees outside and sunny). Cashier was the most miserable person I’ve ever met. We ended up walking out…

I wish I can give this location zero stars. Oh how I wish. This was the worst Starbucks experience in my life. I drink Starbucks coffee daily. First of all they charge me 4 dollars for grande size pike. When I ask them why it’s double the price their answer is that it’s location for tourists. I should have just return my coffee and not let them rip me off like that. But I wanted my coffee so I paid 4 dollars for that coffee. But that’s not the end. When I wanted my free refill, which I get in every Starbucks that I ever visited, they wanted to charge me another 4 dollars, cuz their policy is not to give refills. Come on. I’m really mad. I don’t get why they can’t operate like any other Starbucks on the planet? just because it’s located on Niagara Falls and there is a lot of tourist they can’t treat their every day customers with respect. If I get my coffee every single day I deserve to be treated the same every time. I’m going to say that I’m never going to visit that location again(and I’m in Niagara quite often). Worst customer service ever. Thank you

Outrageously over priced! The extra costs and fees make a normal drink $ 2+ more than anywhere else. A woman in front of me ordered a venti frap and it was $ 7.60! Skip it.

Ordered a vanilla latte, wasn’t made very well — cup wasn’t filled and way too sweet. Pricey coffee. Not as good of quality as Toronto Starbucks locations. The window seats looking out on the street were nice.

Disgusting how they over charge. 2 tall lattes with an extra shot each was $ 13! At home in Vancouver it is about $ 8. They also charge the tourist tax that Niagara Falls is becoming famous for, so not only over charging tourists but also taxing them. The tax is 3% of your bill. This«tax» can be removed if you are a local and can prove it! Shameful that Starbucks is part of the scam and overcharging. I just read it is not a corporate store, none the same, the logo is corporate and therefor Starbucks should be shamed by their Niagara Tourist area stores!

No scan, not a corporate store which is their excuse for charging a ridiculously high price.

They don’t take starbucks cards, too bad, I had a free drink for my birthday… Guess it can wait til I’m home. Convenient location on the corner, walking from the hotel to the Falls. Meh, wouldn’t want to hang out here. Staff is ok, not overly friendly but not mean, quick and efficient.

First of all, this is not a corporate-owned store, so using your Starbucks card will not reward you with complimentary flavor shots or soy milk. You do accumulate stars though, so do have your number handy on your phone or card. Furthermore, what’s just as disappointing about the culture at this store is the baristas do not give a rip about drink standards or quality customer service. I’m also guessing since it’s franchised out, the corporate headquarters don’t bother either since my tweets mentioning @Starbucks went unanswered. Unfortunately, you won’t get any better service or experience at Tim Hortons just down Clifton Hill, so just accept the poor service experience until you’re back in the U.S.

Located at the very top of the start of the town’s famous Clifton Hill tourist strip, this Starbucks location located at the northeast corner of Centre and Victoria Streets is smaller than other locations in the area, but serves it purpose well for those looking for a java jolt after experiencing the Falls and the tourist sites found along the strip. Being one of the few coffee chain coffee shops on the street(the others are Tim Horton’s and Second Cup), this is one of three Starbucks in the vicinity. Service is great, but the only minor things about this place is that space is so small there is no seating space and the bathroom is always busy. Otherwise, I would have rated it five stars.
