This is the starbucks located in the Lord Elgin Hotel although the coffee was passable the staff was not. No smiles and bad attitude Kristen was the worst unfriendly starbucks employee I ever encountered Bathroom was unclean and slow service didn’t even have a scanner to scan starbucks card

Best starbucks in town! Not to mention I live steps away, but even if I didn’t I go out of my way to stop here. The baristas are AMAZING, so nice, patient and everything is always yummy! Can’t emphasize enough how great this location is, very busy in the mornings though!

This Starbucks location is convenient, but no as nice as some of the other ones in the city. It was really busy when I popped in for a meeting around 2 p.m. The barista was lovely, and made me a wonderful peppermint mocha frap when I couldn’t decide what I wanted. I have to agree with Andre, that this place isn’t the cleanest. The bathroom was out of toilet paper, and it was pretty gross. There’s a decent amount of seating, but again, it’s a pretty small location, so it feels a bit cramped. I wouldn’t go out of my way to come here, but the sweet staff and free wifi do make it a decent spot to get some work done.

My favourite Starbucks in the city! The baristas are all very friendly, welcoming and prepare fantastic drinks! The restaurant has a nice little patio during the warmer months and has great open windows for lots of natural light. Great place to do some writing! Free wifi is also pretty good!

15 minutes of walking in snow from my hotel to the produce market, had me freezing and craving Starbucks. talk about an addiction, lol! So the moment i spied this place, i popped in for my fav drink(no matter what time of the day or year) — 2 pump skim chocolate milk. absolute heaven! The place is cute but was a little messy and dirty because of the snow and slush. The girl who took my order was sweet and did not blink at my complicated drink order(I usually have to repeat it multiple times) and the guy making the drink was super efficient and quick with it :) I am here for a couple more days, and I know I will be visiting again!

Situated slap bang on the touristy strip of Ottawa’s Senator’s Mile, surrounded by apartments galore, you would think service and cleanliness would be of paramount importance here. I was sorely mistaken: the toilet stank of piss, there were flies on the few cakes they had left(around 6.30pm), and they had stopped serving decaf coffee at noon. Yes, no decaf after 12 noon! I nearly died of laughter. The manager told me they did not sell enough to make it. Not even on request. Service, Starbucks style. Perhaps the unwashed students and apartment dwellers have no standards there. I smiled, told them I had never heard anything so ridiculous and went to McDonalds, where they made me a fresh pot of delicious decaf.

Ok, so I’m in Ottawa and wanted to find a local coffee shop. I went to one right down the street from my hotel but wasn’t impressed($ 4 for a tiny(tasteless) Mocha that they call large and terrible wifi policy). I finally came across this Starbucks and gave in. This one has the std free, unlimited wifi access and the service and quality of mocha were well above the average Starbucks in the States. Unfortunately, I’d have to recommend this Starbucks over any local coffee establishments(at least the ones that I came across) in the Ottawa area.
