Terrible food, horrible service and disgruntled waitress(who took the liberty to discipline our children). The food was undercooked, and absolutely inauthentic by every sense of the word. The dishes were served in corningware pasta bowls and were unappealing to the eyes. There definitely was no eating with the eyes first. The chickpeas tasted like they were from a can and all the items we ordered seemed to share the same curry base — just tomatoes lacking flavor or uniqueness. And it was pricey for what it had to offer. Will definitely not recommend it to anyone.

A very(very!) casual Indian dining experience. After descending into the restaurant from Avenue Cartier, we were waved to any seat that we wanted by the staff and then the waitress looked a bit annoyed by our selection of a table. She relented(the restaurant was not crowded) and we ordered some daal and other vegetarian dishes plus naan… all was acceptable Indian fare by our standards. Nothing unique or special, not an amazing value either. But we were satisfied and if you desire Indian food in Quebec City, this place works. (One final note: our departure was as odd as our arrival. When it was time to pay our bill, one employee was sitting and eating facing the other direction. Our waitress? She was asleep. It was a comical end to a slightly bizarre experience.)
