Went here last night and quite enjoyed myself. Had a couple of appies that were very good and there was a blues band playing. The accoustic could be a little better and maybe a little more room to dance. They also could use a larger selection of draft beer. All in all a great night and I would go back again.
Robot X.

ROIT! Tonight I stepped in to Fratters, because I needed A) entertainment, and B) foodages. I won twice. The entertainment was a couple comedians(I missed the opener, but the headliner had the room crying, they were laughing so hard). THEN, a jazz band. Unusual talent spread, yes. But, I’d say 65% of the ppl stayed to enjoy the music. Here’s the killer though… I ordered a burger. *record screech sound* Ok look, when they first opened, the idea was to NOT serve menial pub food like burgers. But it was a new venue, and they were playing with a largely unguided menu. Here’s how I felt about The Big Cheese, the burger I ordered(came with the most honest fries you can get): I couldn’t eat it fast enough. The flavours were just so good. I went from eating a burger the other day, at a different establishment, where I know things weren’t right, and the taste wasn’t there, to a burger that just screamed, «Yeah, you want this. That’s right, bite me again, I bet you like to swallow too.»(heh, sorry, I enjoyed it. Sue me. Make sure you live in the proper country first.) This burger was not an accident. And as usual, stellar service. They were PACKED in there. I may have got the last seat in the house, at the bar. Anyway, it would have been an excuse to delay service, but THAT didn’t happen. Explain THAT, slack venues…
