I showed up a bit late, 9pm. Good was pretty good, veggies a little cold. Steak was very good flavor and toppings. Wine at 8ox was the perfect amount for dinner. Cool atmosphere also. I’ll give it a shot again.

Everything from ambiance to appies, drinks to dessert was on point. Amazing drunken mussels, sirloin Oscar, and sticky toffee cake was all to die for

Great little steak house. Independently owned which is something I look for. Friendly staff and courteous service. Portions seemed huge.

A local gem. Had dinner here tonight! Special thanks to Levi and Kristen for making me an amazing meal catering to my needs. Soo delicious. In an business park where you wouldn’t expect to find a nice restaurant. Friday and Saturday nights feature live Jazz!

Nice place, the dinner my wife and I had was tasty. Not too expensive, but not the cheapest place to eat either. Enjoyed ourselves.

We had a big group(15) so keep that in mind. The burger should be amazing but the parties was really dry, and they put on a full red onion to go with my sautéed onions the recipe calls for. My fiancées taco salad came with black beans which was not mentioned on the menu and she found it to be spivey. The glass railings upstairs don’t look like they have been cleaned since opening… gross splatters all over. Live jazz was awesome. Ambience was good. Hard to mess up a burger they claim to be a «real burger» because of this, I left disappointed. Other menu items of note: chicken Oscar is delightful but small portions. You expect small portions from upscale but one eleven finds itself in a confusing pub/upscale limbo Have had both good and bad experiences here. Only go when invited for a friend’s birthday, never our choice in red deer. They replaced my burger with fish and chips. But the large table had a built in 20% on my two person bill I DIDNT know about.

Nice atmosphere. Think there might have been some food poisoning after eating a fish entrée. Food was ok but overpriced imo.

Really cool atmosphere, you wouldn’t know you were in Red Deer. Made reservations and still had to wait… on an extremely busy night I must say, but still. Ordered steak and it was tough. Very disappointing in that. We got seated near a jazz band and the area was very loud.

A little pricey, but good food and good service. It was busy but didn’t seem to interfere with service, which is impressive. The pulled pork tacos were good, I really enjoyed the steak with Blue Cheese sauce, and a very rich dessert. Love the live music, but wish the setup was a different so you could actually see the musicians. Great jazz though!

There’s a cool, independent steakhouse in Red Deer? No kidding! Red Deer is the halfway point for me and my mom, we like to meet here for dinner every now and again. A friend from Calgary suggested we try out One Eleven, so there we were! It’s located in the Old Brew Plaza just off Taylor and 40th St. Drive around back to find the door. The menu is a good variety of steak, chicken, fish/seafood, pasta, salads and the likes. It’s got a decent cocktail menu and wine list as well. I ordered the blackened chicken fire grilled with cajun spices and garlic butter and served with garlic mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables. It was nice and juicy and full of flavour. Delish! If you’re looking for a reliable alternative to your run-of-the-mill chain steakhouses, One Eleven is worth a try.

Went here with my girlfriend and her friends. The service wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t great either. We had a reservation and people were getting in before us who didn’t have reservations. The appetizer I had was fantastic, the crab cakes and the spicy dipping sauce was amazing I had BBQ Blueberry Ribs with fries. The ribs were okay and the fries were stringy, kind of like McDonalds. The side of gravy was small and expensive. The desert, the 5 layered chocolate cake was very good too. For the price the bill came too, I just felt it wasn’t that great of a dining experience. The décor inside looked nice. I found the top area where we sat to be warm and very noisy as well.

My boyfriend and I were looking for a nice place to go out for dinner in Red Deer… after a debate back and forth about«there are no high class dining places in Red Deer»… I bow my head down and take back my words. One Eleven really impressed me. It’s a hidden location in what looks like a run-down building near The Vat… but as soon as you walk through the doors it’s like you’ve been transported into whole other place. It’s a multilayer set-up. They have a nice bar as soon as you walk in. Apparently they have live music a couple days a week as well. The upper level has big comfy booths. We made reservations when we went both times… but to be honest, I really don’t think they are required. Maybe for their weekend brunches you need them? The food is delicious. Move-over«Keg» … One Eleven takes the cake for the better food. The first time we went, we had steak and a lot of appetizers amongst our group. There wasn’t a single item that were not over-the-top impressed with. The second time, I had their beef ribs(with a blueberry bbq rib sauce)… and those were delicious. Note: They are very very good about making sure that their food is the freshest quality so when we were there the first time, they did run out of a couple items for the day and were not expecting another delivery til the morning. So if you have your heart completely set on something… then it might be best to go for an earlier supper. Now that I’ve moved out of Red Deer, I am trying to create excuses to go back specifically so I can enjoy One Eleven one more time.

Wow, place looks nice inside but that’s about all it has going for it! Waitress was nice, food on the other hand, if they even had anything in stock on the order menu! What restaurant runs out of wings? Burger was over cooked, fries were looked and tasted like McCain store bought, Yorkshire pudding was burnt! Not sure if they cooking in the dark but could use big improvements in the kitchen! Won’t be returning!

Don’t let the exterior scare you off. Beautiful décor, good service, interesting menu and delicious food. Wandered in for lunch based on Unilocal — yet again another great find.

Not a better place in Red Deer for finer dining. Great options for steak and seafood. Atmosphere is relaxing with chill live music. *Head there Sunday around 9:30. Afterwards head over to The Vat for a raging night! Last time we ordered the One Eleven Burger and Blue Cheese Steak. Steak was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The burger was a little«bready» but the meat was thick with succulent flavour. Took off the the top bun and fork n’ knifed it.

I’ll start out and say the food is amazing and I can’t stop thinking about the mashed potatoes that had a hint of truffle oil. I have to go back sometime. While the waiter service was quite good, my disappointment was we pre-booked a reservation for a large group. We were seated in intervals and were not fully seated until at least half an hour to forty minutes after our reservation time due to overlapping booking in the upstairs area and there was no room to accomodate us in the bar area so we could at least have some drinks while we waited. I get they are a popular establishment, but that was a turn off. The upstairs was cramped and loud. We were seated beside what was left of the other group that were still not finished, which was our other half of the seats that we needed. I’d go back if I were eating with just my other half or another couple and I would ensure I have reservations, but would never consider it for a large group.

Five words — Go here, best RD restaurant. PS — don’t order the fish and chips, yeah that might be good, but you don’t go to an Italian restaurant to order crepes, you order pasta or pizza at an Italian restaurant. If you want crepes go to a French restaurant — sorry Jen.
