Went here a little while ago and wasn’t overly impressed. It had been a few years since I went to a Tony Roma’s and typical of most chains, it seems to have gone down hill in the quality of the food. The taste was kind of bland and they no longer give you all the barbeque sauces on the side like they used too. I wouldn’t waste my time with this place as there are much better options out there.

This was a fantastic restaurant. There were not many veggie options for lunch … But the waitress was fantastic and accommodated my needs very well. I got a half order of linguine alfredo with extra veg and no chicken — and it was still an enormous portion! And absolutely delicious. I also tried some carrot ginger soup(soup of the day) — amazing. If I lived in Red Deer I would definitely come here again; it would also be great to bring a group.

Being gluten and diary sensitive, it’s not always enjoyable to find tasty items to eat at restaurants. Our family decided to try our local Tony Roma’s. I had the top sirloin steak and there were a few side dishes I could pick from. It tasted delicious! My husband enjoyed his burger and my son devoured his chicken fingers. The server was knowledgeable and super friendly. Very impressed and we will be back for sure!

We went to Red Deer for the nite & after winning @ the Jackpot Casino there, we began searching for a restaurant open @ 10:30. Finally found A Tony’s. But the parking lot was complete empty & on a Saturday nite?! It was still open and the waitress/hostess happily seated us. Not another soul around though, it was kinda weird. We ordered our usual«kicking shrimp» appetizer, which was cooked perfectly! It was delicious! I had decided I wanted a salad and there was several good ones to chose from. I picked the Tonys Asian Salad & my bf ordered a steak & cheese sandwich. The food came out fast. Which I’m thinking it should considering we were the only ones there! Still. Bonus points for that. My salad was Ok. The pieces of romaine lettuce were cut huge making this salad quite difficult to eat. And all the extras on the salad sunk to the bottom. My bf’s sandwich which was steak(tender & flavourful) w/cheese was excellent, the rice«pilaf» he got as one of his two sides was just plain rice & the coleslaw was an ok addition. All in all, the meal was fast, the service was great and the food was ok.

First Time Ive ever been to a Tony Romas thank god my husband had a giftcard and we didnt have to put our money into this horrible meal. Ordered the dumplings as a started they were slimmy greasy had no filling just absolutly inedible, our wonderful waitress(the only good part of that night was her) replaced then with s&p wings which were better because we could eat it but they were greasy and only tasted like pepper. The for the main course we got 2 different kinds of steak Both were under cooked from what we wanted. we both got their garlic mashed potatoes WOW those shouldn’t be called mashed potatoes, i tasted no garlic and they tasted like pancake mix and the crappiest box of powdered potatoes ever absolute disaster. The ribs were unimpressive. dry lack of sauce they burnt half of it and just put it on its burnt side to hide it. The french fries were the best part of the meal so was the after meal mint. Never going there again i have never been 100% disappointed through an entire meal.

Great food, great service. Nothing to complain about here! I came for lunch and was out within an hour. Our waitress was a delight, and the food was once again fantastic.

Last time I was at a Tony Roma 11 years ago and the food was bad and the service was poor. Went to the Red Deer location for the first time today. Ok service but bland food. Wife found hair in hers. Might be another 11 years before I’m back. Really should be 0 stars.
