I was very impressed with the staff and wonderful atmosphere! I went in as a walk-​in and was seen within minutes!

I used to be an optician so I like to pick out my own glasses. I know what I like and what looks good on me. It felt weird for me to sit their and have some one lay frames in front of me. I have a smaller head and like funkier frames. It is hard to describe what you are looking for when you are not sure.
I did manage to find a pair and they were on clearance (yeah!). I asked if I could just have the frame as I still needed to get my eyes checked. They said that was fine but there would be no warranty. I was fine with that.
My mom got her last pair of glasses here (I don’t really like them). I think it is good for people who are uncertain of frame shapes or sizes. It is something I prefer to do myself, I felt awkward.

The coolest place to buy glasses. You enter the store and literally have a seat at the bar. The staff are super attentive and knowledgable. Christianne was my «bartender» and brought me so many awesome styles it was hard to choose. She gave me great feedback and I am extremely pleased with my final choice. Next up was Luke who took my measurements and made sure my glasses were well adjusted when I picked them up. He was fantastic, my glasses fit and i have great vision! The prices are comparable to stores with lesser service and have great styles to choose from. I will definitely be a repeat customer.

Dr. Ross was very friendly as well. He provided the BEST eye exam I have ever had. I didn’t feel rushed at all. He took time to explain everything.

I’m never going to go anywhere else for glasses again.
Before my afternoon at eyebar, I had never been to a shop that picks out frames for you. I had mostly done the Family Vision Care thing, where you wander aimlessly around the store and wait for a staff member to come over and unlock the case for you when you find something you like. Not the greatest experience, so it was time to switch it up.
The staff here are fantastic, and the guy who grabbed frames for me (I forget his name, eek! But he was wonderful and wore teal glasses) brought a range of styles and colours he thought might fit my face and my tastes. Most of the frames were great, a couple were just OK, and then there was that one pair — that pair I simply can’t get out of my head. Sleek but retro, super cute, and the perfect colour. I’ve never tried on a pair of glasses that look so great on me.
eyebar actually makes shopping for glasses fun and super stylish! I’ll be heading back soon to purchase that dream pair, and I can honestly say I’ve never been this excited about a pair of new glasses before. The best part? They’re totally within my price range, too!
Worth the drive to Sherwood Park, for sure.
