Ordered two dynamite rolls and picked them up but when I got home and opened them it was California rolls! I called and they told we to come back and bring the California rolls with me if I had not touched them! I drove back and they made me pay the difference made no apology and took the California rolls! I could tell they knew they gave me the wrong order because my rolls were cold from sitting there! So I’m guessing some poor patron ended up with California rolls that I had brought home. Gives me the creeps! :(me thinks never again!

I live steps away from this place and love it, the«Rising Roll» is sooo good. As well as the Firecracker roll. I wouldn’t say it’s the best I’ve had, but very good nonetheless. Only gripe, I wish their gyoza was better, I find them tough and under seasoned. Stick with the rolls and you’ll be fine!

Nice server lady, smiley and friendly. But with a few tables full and a few people in for take out, we couldn’t get what we needed without constantly waiting… side plate, more napkins, a fork, a side of spicy sauce. My roll had hard rice, sunomono hard with little flavour, hard yakisoba noodles. The miso was nice and the appy sashimi was generous and fresh tasting. The experience just didn’t do enough to make me want to try again. Sorry.

I’ve been here multiple times and have never had a bad meal. The service isn’t too bad, great people, helpful but there is a slight language barrier, nothing major. The prices aren’t too bad and compare well with other sushi restaurants, however the quality of the food is far superior to other locations, especially nearby. This is the only place I will even go to in the area.

I absolutely love Denji sushi! my first visit there, they gave us complimentary house rolls to try. very reasonably priced boxes, and they allow substitutions!

After reading the reviews I was really looking forward to this place! I guess I caught them on a bad night, there was only a group of four teenage girls there sharing a couple of rolls and one other group of two at the table near us and the waitress had to be asked repeatedly for more tea and eventually she came around with some, only to have to be asked after another long wait again the next time. We ordered the assorted tempura and found it not cooked very well, very doughy inside and greasy, we also did not get the usual dip that comes with tempura. We also had the edame beans to start which did come quickly and were fine. Next we had two rolls a dynamite and a scallop. Both of which were ok, but took forever to come. Personally, I found the rice not of the caliber I expected, but overall the tastes were acceptable, I prefer the dynamite rolls on the smaller side like they do at village sushi.(just as a reference) I found the décor more like a coffee shop than a sushi restaurant, and the prices were very high in my opinion. I travel for a living and have enjoyed sushi all over North America from coast to coast. And I do not consider myself a sushi expert by any means, but I do know when I have been treated and served well, and this restaurant did poorly on Price and service. A really good sushi place is lacking In the Langley area for sure… There are places that are cheaper than 32.00 for 2 regular rolls, edame, tempura and tea, that will serve you like they appreciate your business. This just isn’t one of them. But then they are close, but if I wasn’t up for a drive to Kamloops to go to oya sushi there or richmond I would probably go to village sushi first, the quality of the sushi is better but not too much less expensive, but at least they enjoy you visiting. I gave this place 3 stars just as a respect to all the 5 stars, but if it was just a bad day, then they don’t deserve the 2 I would have given them. Cheers!

We love it!!! Awesome food and Great service… especially by our usual server Hemi is fantastic. Shawn the sushi chef makes my fave incredible fire cracker roll. Really can’t go wrong with this place, ya sure a little pricier than some but really you get what you pay for and that’s fresh and incredibly tasty sushi and sashimi… YUM!!! So if you want good sushi I highly recommend Denji Sushi.

In the area, we have been to Village Sushi and Umami Sushi as well as Denji. Denji is the standout best of the three! The prices are reasonable and the sushi is very good! We’ll be back many more times, I’m sure.

This Japanese restaurant which has recently opened is a bit pricey but has top quality food. I have tried allot of there dishes and always found there sushi to be very fresh and well presented. They seem to do allot of take out business as there are not allot of tables but I have always found the service to be good. This may not be the best place to bring allot of people for a meal since it is rather small inside but the food is consistently good.
