Love the corner action here, lots of people watching. It’s been here for decades. Street parking all around though there’s a covered parking lot right beside it. comfortable seating, and while busy at times, for the most part, it’s a lot more trendy than that mayhem going on at Breka bakery on the other side of Robson, where if you’re claustrophobic but I digress. Surprise, surprise: it’s the largest coffee franchise in BC; not Starbucks, which are all corporate owned, and not Timmy’s, well, one not exactly local or Canadian for that matter, but two, probably under a different food license category altogether.

This is spacious and not as busy as there other locations. Lots of day light coming in during the summer which makes this nice. Customer service has been hit and miss at this place. I haven’t had their snacks at this location, just the drinks.

This is by far the worst blenz for fresh product. The coffee is fine but don’t eat any of the food. I had a issue three different times and will not go back here for a forth time. The only reason i even went back after the first bad experience is because its the closest coffee shop in the area.(Convenience) The first time i ordered a bagel and the cream cheese was bad. I took it back there and they gave me a new cheese it was bad too but i had already got back to office. Then next time i ordered a sandwich and the meat smelled bad i just threw is out. The sandwiches in general are not fresh or appealing. This cream cheese incident happened the next time a month later. When i advised the staff they said they will let the owner know but that he wasn’t listening!!! I found that so strange while i was there another customer was returning with the cream cheese and the bagel was molded. Fresh and quality control is not looked after at this location which is a shame.

There are Blenz locations all over Vancouver(I just wish we had some in SoCal) of all the various Blenz locations this one was my favorite because of the people watching and it wasn’t too crowded. We were able to sit on comfortable cushiony chairs. I read while my husband used his iPad(the wi-fii wasn’t that great) when I got tired of reading, I moved into a window bar stool seat and watched all the people going by. The maple latte and london fog we ordered were perfect! My only complaint is that this location wasn’t open on the weekend but at least JJ Bean on Alberni was open.

Yummy cappuccino and latte… Free wifi… better than Starbucks but not as big of food selection. Something different to try versus Starbucks. I had the Latte with Almond milk & Irish Cream flavoring.

So service was pretty normal. nothing special. Same for the drinks. but the washroom was horrific! One of the dirtiest washrooms I have been in. There was even a bunched up piece of toilet paper with poo all over it. I felt so gross having to go in there. I doubt I will be back here again.

GREAT space for a mere coffee chain. White, swish, arty. Combine with Belgian Iced Chocolate, nuff said.

Awesome coffee & service! We’re in love with their smooth, flavorful Americano… an oasis in a sea of green mermaids ;) Thanks for the atmosphere as well!

I’ve only been to this location but the latte is excellent. They had to restart the espresso machine since I just made it before they shut down their door. I had to wait couple minutes for the machine to warm up but I would wait again for the latte here.

The great thing about Blenz is they have almond milk. Soy milk can be terrifying at times with all the fillers and preservatives. Gotta have my tea and matcha lattes with almond milk!

Compared to most other Blenz locations, this one is surprisingly upscale. Still gives me a good chuckle as I still remember the days when it was the sales office for«Vancouver’s Turn», and Comor before that. I think I’m old. Parking is not available here, so hopefully took public transit. The inside is covered with lots of glass and dark wood. Everything inside looks squeaky clean. There seating area is large and open, where everyone can see the people walking around outside. The furniture is nice and new, and there are even a couple of low glass tables with couches. Interestingly enough there is no honey available at the toppings, which is a real shame. Hence the 4 stars instead of 5.

Passed my Matcha Banana Smoothie test with flying colours! By now, I’ve noticed that this is not a standard menu item(there was a mini-poster of it at Blenz Oakridge, but only one other Blenz had been able to make it the same way I liked it). The ladies here asked me about what I wanted — whether it was chillo-based or protein shake-based(I didn’t know), whether I wanted banana purée or fresh banana(I didn’t know either) — and told me that they’ll re-make it if I don’t like it. The barista lady assured me once again when she gave it to me that she’ll redo it if it’s not what I wanted, so give it a try. It was great! Nicely smooth, and more creamy than icy. But the service was what I was more impressed with. This is the best customer service I’ve received at a coffee chain. It’s over the top to offer satisfaction guarantee on something I couldn’t accurately describe! This is a new location at Georgia and Thurlow(the building is called«1090 West Georgia», but Blenz’ receipt says their address is on Thurlow…), and it’s fancier than any Blenz I’ve been to. I mean, high ceiling, chandelier, marble(?). I guess they’re dressed up for the Shangri-La guests across the street.
