This was a five star restaurant that treats you like a guest during Dine Out Vancouver. With sommelier to help us and great chefs to feed us. With an amuse bouch to start. Thank you for the experience.

What a magical experience. My girlfriend came in on a whim — I’d only seen CinCin in wedding photos posted online as a venue. We went up the stairs off Robson and woosh! Two lovely girls opened the double-doors for us and I knew this was going to be a swanky night. Our server was this older gentleman who knew the menu like the back of his hand. You can order the pastas at appetizer or entrée size. After an amazing beet and goat cheese salad appetizer the appetizer sized pastas were good enough for us. I had the risotto to die for and my friend got the chef’s special for the night which was a short rib pasta. Unbelievable! I can’t wait to go back.

We did the Dine Out here for $ 40/person — I was excited because it was a good opportunity to try this place that had been on my wishlist but was out of my regular dining budget. The service was reasonable, the atmosphere was nice, if a little overcrowded, but the food simply didn’t live up to my expectations. I know it’s Dine Out — I know that restaurants plan their menu over what will give them a better return, but it’s also an opportunity to showcase talent to a new pool of potential clientele who, if impressed, will return and pay full price. Let’s start with the appetizers: my soup was nice, but my poor husband’s face fell when his ‘fire grilled ceasar’ arrived(which sounded really cool). It was literally a half a head of romaine, with grill marks, and some sauce drizzled over top. I’m sorry but while it sounds cool, cooked lettuce does not a good salad make. The presentation was poor and the flavours just weren’t there. If you’re going to challenge the norm, at least be confident you can do it well. Honestly, it’s worse than the Keg’s «Wedge» salad, and that’s saying something. For the mains we both got the sirloin. Again, my husband’s face fell when both plates were brought out and once piece was noticeably larger than the other. Guess who got the bigger piece! Yup, he kept looking over at my plate confused as to why I had more meat than him — and no, it did not have a proportionate amount of fat/gristle. The actual flavour wasn’t quite there either — while the texture was perfect, it lacked the flavour that a sirloin usually has. I’m not going to get overly cocky here, but I’m from Argentina, so trust me when I say I know my beef(we have more cows per capita than any other country) and this was too mellow a flavour for the cut. The plating on this was better but my overall feeling on the plating for all 3 courses wasn’t great, not for what I expect out of this restaurant. The dessert was probably the best course and again we noticed a pretty obvious discrepancy in portions — I got the panna cotta and he got something else(I can’t even remember) and mine was substantially larger. So all in all, it was a good dine out experience but I’d never pay full price for this based on what I experienced.

Came here last night with my friend. Didn’t make any reservations, so we set at the bar with no waiting. The food here was awesome, me and my friend both love them

CinCin never fails to impress. It is one of the few restaurants in Vancouver that have it dialled-in and have had it so for years. The service is always attentive and boasts what professionalism in that arena should. From the Rosemary skewered prawns to the delicate sides of mushrooms, kale, and carrots — everything was perfectly prepared. The main was a venison loin. This was perhaps the most tender I’ve ever experienced for this protein. The service was attentive and also intuitive. I am oftentimes entertaining clients and I was during my most recent visit. Attention was paid to the engagement of the guests and conversation was always timely and politely interrupted. These are subtleties that most venues do not employ. As far as fine dining goes in the West End and along Robson, one’s options are quite limited. CinCin is your best bet when you want the experience that is guaranteed to provide a memorable evening for you and your guests.

Ah. It’s DineOut time in Vancouver again! Love the restaurant. They don’t compromise the quality of food because it’s DineOut. I’ve ordered the lettuce, sirloin, and brownie. They were good. However, I’ve had better service at CinCin before. Obviously the regular staff still works there. Maybe because it’s DineOut they might have hired extra staff who are not as professional as the regular staff(not bringing water until asked, putting utensils at the wrong spot, not saying goodbye, etc). They were by no means rude, just not what I’ve experienced before at CinCin, which is a first class establishment. CinCin, please don’t compromise ur service with DineOut. Would have otherwise given 5 stars.

I like this restaurant. Second time coming back and its still on my top list to dine out. Came here during dine out Vancouver with 3 other friends. We all loved our dish. Apparently the earlier times were all booked full so we ended up booking for 8:15pm. It was bit late but the food was so good. For the appie, I had the chickpea leek soup. Inside there were few whole chickpea. I prefer soup that doesn’t require to chew. The soup had a kick to it. Kind of spicy. But over all its good. I had the steak for my main course. The steak was very juicy with a strong buttery taste to it. I tasted truffle in the dish. For desert, I had something that is very tart. I got the bergamot curd. It was interesting. I will definitely come back

When a place has been in operation on a busy expensive strip like Robson Street. They have to be doing something right. Probably one of my most memorable meals here was with a Unilocaler friend Hilda. In fact I’ve had numerous memorable meals here. Mostly dates or business dinners. It’s the kind of place you go to show off. Clients from Asia love having dinners here. There is always something new to try and the wine and beer pairings are well recommended. I’ll keep this short and sweet. If you haven’t been here before and you like Italian food. You gotta eat there. (dovete mangiare in questo posto) servizio eccellente mangiari delizioso My Chinese Pasta Lover would love it here. Attempt at sounding Italian and a romantic…0 stars.

Love this restaurant. We were there back in April of this year. Sat on the patio with a great view of the harbor and busy Robson Street below. Had one of the most memorable meals ever. The pastas were al dente and delicious, the desserts were perfect, the service was warm and attentive, the décor was beautiful and the ambiance was perfect, classy without pretension. Thanks to the exchange rate, a wonderful, filling meal for 4 came out to $ 185. This is now our favorite restaurant in Vancouver.

I got the sablefish, which was great, family got the ravioli, osso, and braised duck pappardelle. The osso was also great. Ravioli was creamy. Have to say that the bread in the beginning didn’t really suit my pallet and service was a little mixed up. Not as friendly as I’ve come to getting used to going to various restaurants in the Area. This place came highly rated on trip advisor, so I did expect more. Overall great Italian restaurant, I’m sure yesterday was an off day.

Came here last Saturday for dinner. Reservations are probably recommended as it is a fairly popular and busy place. Ordered the beef carpaccio to start. It was not bad. Interesting touch adding the croutons to it. Hard to say if I would get that again, given it is $ 19 and I’m all about value. Had the 10oz CAB ribeye for $ 44 as my main. Damn, it’s probably one of the best pieces of steak I’ve had in Vancouver. Charred deliciously on the outside and tender and pink inside. No blood. The sauces which were not necessary, makes it taste even better! So glad I chose the 10oz over the 6oz! The only thing I could ask for is maybe more/better sides to go with it. There was a potato/prosciutto thing resembling a Chinese radish cake that I felt did not go well with one another. Would have been better if they were separate entities. There were minimal greens and I’m not sure if you can really classify roasted onions as an actual side, they were more like garnish really. Service was pretty on point. They were quick to refill or to clear out plates. Food came out in a reasonable time. Only time it took rather long was when we tried to get the bill. All in all, a pleasant experience. But for me personally, since I’m all about bang for the buck, it’s probably not somewhere I would come to regularly.

My boyfriend and I were so happy that we chose CinCin for our dinner date. We’re from Seattle so we don’t really know of any restaurants downtown. CinCin definitely did not disappoint! Its a beautiful setting; you have to walk up a some stairs to enter the restaurant. Lighting and everything was perfect! The hostess asked if we wanted outdoor seating but I was wearing a dress so she sat us by the heated area which was perfect cause you were able to overlook the street. She also gave me a nice shawl in case I still got cold! Our server was on point! He knew the answers to all of our questions and even went over the menu recommending items without us asking and made sure to be aware of any allergies. He was ALWAYS attentive and made sure to refill our wine glasses the perfect amount! Best service Ive had at a restaurant. For appetizer we got the goat cheese stuffed zucchini blossoms… AMAZING. Could eat a thousand of them. For entrée my boyfriend got the veil w risotto and I got the scallops and risotto. Scallops were cooked perfectly and the risotto was perfect as well. My boyfriend was really full & he usually could eat for dayzz. The wine we had was a carafe of a sauvignon blanc it was sooo good & im not usually a wine drinker! It was a local wine. We didnt even have room for dessert but there was complimentary homemade chocolate marshmallow and fruit jelly. Overall awesome experience, will definitely be back!!!

Ah CinCin. I have been here a handful of times for Christmas and my birthdays and I have yet to be disappointed. The service has always been excellent. Everyone from the hostess to the servers to management are very friendly and welcoming. The food is just amazing. I started off with an olive tapenade and bread — yum! I can’t remember what I ordered a few years ago but recently I ordered the scallop risotto for dinner. It was one of the best risottos I’ve ever had. The scallops were cooked perfectly and the whole dish was very flavorful. For dessert, I had their selection of petit fours. I usually feel sick after I eat dessert after eating a large meal, so the size was perfect. The selection changes too which is nice. I had a macaron, a chocolate ganache, a mango tart, and a vanilla custard I believe. It’s pricey if you make it pricey. I saved money by not ordering a drink aside from water, and getting the half portion of the risotto instead of the full size. However, this is partly because I’m a small eater. Even though it’s pricey, it’s a fancy restaurant. What do you expect? You pay for good quality and good ambiance and good service — everything that CinCin offers.

Pretentious snobby douchebags that work there turned me off. Get over yourselves you pricks, you live in Vancouver not Dubai. Stiff atmosphere, super awkward. Pass.

I came here to celebrate. I’ve always wanted to come here, however, never had anything decent to wear. Since I was dressed as Macphisto from the Zoo TV tour I figured that it would be an awesome change to get out my inner Macphisto and dine in luxury for the moment. In all fairness I did warn the establishment before hand of my choice of outfit before making my reservation in fear of being rejected at the door. It’s only fair. I also ensured that I got an early seating before the rush in case it was in fact an issue(my outfit in a high class establishment). The good news is that we still had the reservation. I got there just as it opened so that I could beat the rush and be in time for the show. My meal came out in ample time for me to finish at my pace as well as have not 1 but two desserts. I had the whole wood grilled branzino with violet kale, potatoes, caramelized onions & pancetta which was amazing. It was perfectly done inside, they even deboned it properly in front of me upon request. It took me a while to finish this ’cause I have never had fish made this perfectly. The fire roasted hanging local farmer chicken with salt baked celery root, sieglinde potato purée & parsnips was so moist in the middle that you didn’t need a knife to cut through it, it just slide off. Both dishes were nicely platted for presentation. Of course my favorite part of the meal… dessert. I got the sampler 6 pieces of macarons, however, when the came out was a little disheartened that for the price they were half the size of regular macarons. They did taste good and the shell was made perfectly. In fact it was the most perfect macaron that I have tasted in terms of texture. The real star of the evening was the meyer lemon curd with alder smoked pistachios, candied lemon & citrus gel. I tried my best not to eat this so fast and really appreciate every bit. Gel was sour and the cream was sweet and together the magically worked. I loved that combo. The platting on this was excellent and was a piece of art in itself. I did take a bit, however, it came out blurry sadly :( Our service was amazing. They changed our cutlery and water like as Jody would say… like Ninjas. The bathroom was nice and clean.

walked in on an afternoon where it was POURING! I attempted to make dinner reservations online, but they were booked. I walked in almost dripping, and asked them if i could take bar seats, and I was accommodated oh so graciously at the table. VERYVERYFINEDINING. Robert, was wonderful and started me off with an Aperol Spritz $ 11.5. The Minestra soup $ 12.5 with lima beans and pesto, was the BESTSOUP I have ever had.(It might be wise to note: I am not a fan of soups, so this was delicious) I ordered the Bolognese $ 23.5 which was a hearty serving, paired with another cocktail: Apple of my Eye $ 13.73 Everything was wonderful and Roberto took care of everything wonderfully, it was exceptional service. Thank you for accommodating me, when I go back to Vancouver I shall make a reservation this time :)
