This place is a gem! I love going to different thrift stores when I travel in hopes of getting some of the local flavor. The drive boasts a lot of shops but this one was by far my favorite. There’s a great selection of women’s clothes featuring some great coats and shoes. There’s a men’s section too but I didn’t peruse through that area too much so this review is limited to ladies perspective, sorry fellas! I got a beautiful warm winter coat for $ 30, it looks brand new, I couldn’t find a thing wrong with it! Looking online for that brand it looks like this was a steal. There’s also a bunch of great skirts and pants that are perfect for work and play at a great price, ranging from $ 5 to $ 20. There’s accessories up front by the register that are cute and quirky as well as a pretty decent book selection in the back. Most books that interest me were about $ 5; I was able to get Anna Karenina for $ 5! The lady at the cash register was super sweet, she was really engaging and helpful with any questions I had. I mentioned that my boyfriend and I were visiting for the first time and she gave us a few recommendations of places to go and things to see. All in all, this was a really great find! Next time I’m back in Vancouver I’ll be sure to stop by!
