Skyline Catering

I love the wonton noodle soup here. It’s hard to find good Chinese take out food in downtown, and this place does it for me.

When you walk into Bentall Center III from the Burrard Skytrain entrance, Skyline is down the stairs and to your left. It’s only take-​out, there is no seating, although you can usually find seating in the small (dungeon-​like) eating area with tables across the hallway just inside the entrance from the skytrain.
What I love about this place is that everything I’ve had so far has been fresh and home made. Daily soups — check the board on the wall to see what’s available today. Sandwiches prepared while you wait and from fresh ingredients. My favorite is the turkey sandwich made not from sliced processed turkey, but instead with real pulled-​from-​the-​carcass turkey meat. There is nothing fancy about Skyline, but when I’m downtown and looking for a healthy, reasonably priced and quick lunch, this is one of my favorites.
