I was looking for late night/early morning food. I first went out for the lookout for food at 11PM, and walked into this place to check out what they offer. I got their Italian sandwich, with a medium latte. The sandwich was good quality, I can tell their ingredients were fresh. Their latte was ok, but did not provide the kick of energy I was looking for and it started tasting a bit off toward the end. I returned around 3AM looking for an early morning snack. I got some yogurt, which was all I needed right before going to bed. What I like about this place is that it’s open 24 hours a day, and it’s right next to the hotel. One thing to keep in mind, however, is that their late night menu is limited. To get their full range of offerings, come daytime.

It’s no Mighty O or Top Pot like we have down here in Seattle, but not bad for a large chain doughnut place. I always see commercials and people talking about how good this place is I had to make sure to stop by during this trip up to our neighbor of the north. My mom and I each got a muffin, she got the chocolate chip and I got their seasonal offering, pumpkin spice. Oh man… pumpkin spice muffin was probably the best muffin I had at a large corp. in a long while! This had actual pumpkin seeds on top with a cream cheese(more like a sweet frosting) in the middle. The muffin was so moist too! We had purchased it a few days prior and had been eating a lot around town so I had not had the chance to eat it. But the day I did, I was sure surprised to find that it was still moist! Didn’t crumble, nothing was stale, nothing! I was impressed! The Timbits, their doughnut holes, were pretty good, but I have had better sadly. However, I did love the raspberry filled, powdered sugar covered ones. Also, they had this limited offering called the smile cookie. Each cookie purchased, money would go to support the BC children’s hospital. I can’t turn down a cookie, especially if it supported a children’s hospital! I would come back for the muffins! I would also like to try their regular doughnuts as well because my mom’s Canadian maple doughnut looked soo good she didn’t even give me a bite!

This is probably the worst tims I’ve ever had to go to. It’s always a challenge when ordering, none of the employees have English as a first language so you never know what you’re gonna get. Customer service is minimal(again due to language) and I find it very rude that they speak their own language behind the counter in front of guests. Unfortunately I’m forced to go to this location because it’s across the street from my school. I wish this wasn’t the case though cause I would avoid this place all together if I could.

This is the Tim Hortons whose owner dumped water on a homeless person and abused his dog and is too cowardly to apologize for it as he declined media interviews. Boycott this location and I recommend that his franchise rights be revoked.

The owner of TIMHORTONS on Robson and Richards, literally just dumped a very large bucket of water all over a homeless man(and all his worldly belongings, cardboard bed included), for sitting out front of the shop. He was sleeping when it happened.

There aren’t many things that were better in the 90s, but Tim Horton’s is one of them. People call this place a Canadian institution, but for most of their recent history, they haven’t been Canadian. They also used to make pretty decent doughnuts, because they actually made them onsite, fresh every day. Then they merged with culinary hotspot Wendy’s, became Canadian again briefly, until last year when Burger King acquired them. These days Tim Horton’s brings in factory-fried partially-cooked frozen doughnuts by truck. They thaw them, cook them again, and sell them to you, good people. These are not doughnuts. They are embarrassments. If you like that greasy coating on the roof of your mouth, get your doughnuts here! And their muffins are frozen, pre-made and pre-wrapped. Mmmm, my mouth just clamped shut thinking about how delicious they are. The coffee is okay for fast food coffee. As if that’s saying a lot. The other food is just depressing. Though nothing is as depressing as the way the owner of this particular Robson franchise treats customers and the general public. The owner was just caught pouring buckets of water on a sleeping homeless man and his sleeping homeless dog on the street, in the middle of winter, in front of customers. Wow. As if you needed another reason NOT to go to Tim Hortons.

I came here to buy some Tim Bits as a last minute pic nic contribution(yes we have pic nics in winter) since what I initially intended to bake didn’t go so well(new recipe). I didn’t want to look like an a-hole and show up with nothing nor was their time to do another batch, therefore, picked up a 12 pack of Tim Bits. It was better for me to show up some Bits than nothing at all. By the time I went most of the selection had been picked over, however, still managed to come out with a decent array of balls.

I say«I’d like my coffee, for here, in a mug». At least 50% of the time(not just this location), my coffee arrives in a disposable cup. Amazingly poor training compared to most coffeeshops.

I only wanted something warm to hold in the harsh Canadian climate(I’m from Northern California and our winters are mild) and mmmmmmm the vanilla latte was delicious. It was the perfect creaminess and very different from my usual order. I didn’t rate a 5 stars because it was a tad too sweet and I didn’t taste any coffee. I would probably order black coffee and mix the two and end up a very, very happy girl.

This is the Dunkin Donuts of Canada. But it’s better than Dunkin. The donuts are better, the coffee is better, and the name is better. I always imagine that Tim Horton is some sort of sophisticated guy that was once a genuine, hard-working Canadian type — maybe a lumberjack or semi-pro hockey player — that struck it rich and decided to get some swag and open up a massive donut chain. Don’t tell me what the real story is, I like my fetishized, made up version. Anyway the donuts here are consistently decent and no trip to the Great White North is complete without one of these sour cream glazed bad boys. I’ll take this over a ‘bux any day.

This one star is only for a nice cashier. The kitchen service was terrible. They forgot about my sandwitch, and when i asked for it, they said that they gave it to another customer. When they finally made it, it was cold(and I ordered toasted). I told them that, and they TOASTEDJUSTTHEBOTTOMBUN and explained it that there are herbs on the top and it doesn’t suppose to be toasted. I will never come back at this location again. I hate when customers are treated like they are idiots.

During my trip to Vancouver(Las week) me and the bf stayed near Robson so we visited this area a lot and whenever we were in the area, we would make it a point to stop by here before we started our day and sometimes even in the late afternoon once we headed back home, or before dinner. that’s how much we loved Tim Hortons. Some of the things we tried and loved are: 1.) Ice cap – Basically like Starbucks frap without the whip cream and not as sweet. More of a creamy and milky iced coffee that isn’t overly sweet and not to expensive(Only available during the summer time). 2.) Hot chocolate – Really milky, creamy and chocolaty. So yummy! 3.) Honey glazed and glazed donuts – Even good and fresh towards the end of the day! 4.) Iced coffee– Refreshing and doesn’t have that burnt coffee taste to it.

This place was located near my hotel, and opened 24 hours. Its a decent sized Tim Horton’s, and the morning staff seems friendlier than the night crew. The donuts are my favorite. The breakfast sandwiches? Not so much. I like the glazed Timbits(the holes) but will get a variety of the«Bits» to sample. The 10 pack is a perfect box to indulge or share with a friend. There’s ample places to sit, but I’m sure seating can become a premium. For the coffee drinkers, you need to ask for cream or milk, as this is not Starbucks, where you serve yourself. The coffee is not the best, so If you’re a coffes snob, there is a Sbux just up the street.

The last time I went at this location I almost came back for asking for a refund or for adding MORE cream cheese on my bagel because it was just a tiny bit on one side of the bagel… And an homeless came in start eating left over from the garbage station AND he start smoking is cigarette INSIDE… SOGROSS… And no one from the staff noticed him. Myself and an another customers pointed out the situation to the staff behind the counter. They was too busy to laugh and chat in their(my opinion here: not appropriated as it’s not your break time) foreign language… Of course the staffs says something to the homeless right after we asked for. But they was kinda of yelling behind the counter saying: ”You can’t stay here, you can’t stay here”… Yeah… obviously… At some point they had no choice to stepped out and talked to him face-to-face. Because of course the homeless person wasn’t listening to them. The staff didn’t apologies to the customers… The place was full and I was not the only one bother by the homeless smoking inside the TIm Hortons and eating left over from the previous customers…

Order the small vanilla bean latte and it taste horrible! Being a coffee junkie, I seriously thought it was another«Starbucks», where a barista made my drink. I didn’t think buttons were being pushed to create my drink. No wonder why the drinks here are really cheap. If you’re looking for cheap/instant coffee than this is your cup of tea

A pretty good donut spot… these restaurants are located all over the city and it’s a convenient way to get a quick and cheap snack. I tasted a plain donut, which was okay and also got a breakfast biscuit that arrived with egg whites and cheese and that was pretty good too. People must not eat at home because on a Friday morning, this place was packed!

First heard of Tim Horton’s on a cruise. We met a couple from Newfoundland who told us these are everywhere in Canada. Well, first I thought, heck… donut shop, who cares. So while in Vancouver, I had a sudden craving for sweet fried greasy dough, and this location was only minutes away from our hotel, and being in Canada, of course I got the maple ones. One with cream filling, one without. Simply put, Canadian Maple is tons better than the imitation loaded sugar maple stuff we get in the states. Now I find myself craving it. I even went as far as getting anything maple hoping it will taste remotely close to their Canadian goodness. No dice! They also seem to have an impressive sandwich, panini menu, although I stuck to the tooth decaying sweets Can’t speak for other locations, but this place was packed on a weekday morning w/business people donning suits, on laptops and looking like they’re doing something important. Relax, savor your donut & coffee. Save it for the office I will be back next time I’m in Canada.

Tim Hortons is the exact opposite of what I look for in a café. Legend has it coffee was discovered by a young Ethiopian goat herder named Kaldi. Now class, who can tell me what the exact opposite of a young Ethiopian goat herder is? Anyone? Who said old Canadian ice hockey player? Excellent answer. Tim Hortons coffee is awful. It’s bland. It’s lifeless and it has no soul. I don’t care if they brew it every 20 mins. For 19 of those minutes it has been sitting in a glass carafe on a heated plate. The exact opposite of what you should do to coffee. At least it is a medium roast so I give it one more star than Starbucks which is Tim Hortons bigger, bolder, dumber cousin from down south. If you add cream and sugar the taste of the coffee can be sufficiently muted so that it is drinkable. The exact opposite of how you should drink good coffee. However, the coffee is much better than Blenz and the pastries are basic but usually fresh. If you have to go to one of the big three coffee chains. Tim Hortons is the best of the worst. That still makes it bad which is the exact opposite of good. Here’s a tough one class; What would you do to make customers feel unwelcome and baked goods appear hideous? Ooh sorry. The answer I was looking for was«Flourescent lighting.» I would have also accepted«a grey and beige colour scheme». The exact opposite design you should choose for a warm and inviting café. What’s up Timmy? You fell out of the 80’s ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down. Okay almost done. Who can tell me what year the first Tim Hortons store opened? 1964. Good. And who thinks that 47 years should be enough time to figure out how to put a doughnut in a bag without having the icing stick to the inside? All of you. Well done. You all get an A. Get your act together Timmy. Put on this dunce cap and go stand in the corner. Dismissed.

This review is for all Tim Hortons in general and not just this location. Two drinks to keep in mind: Steeped Tea — Yep, I didn’t believe in it either. Tea? Pinky in the air maybe? C’mon, you serious bro? *sips tea* Oh sh! t, that was pretty good. Yessir, that was my reaction. Double cream and sugar + tea. Tasty! By the way, we got a medium which for us Americans is equivalent to a small. It even seemed smaller than a tall at Starbucks in the states. Iced Capp — An ice blended treat! They have different flavors like mint chip, butter caramel, French vanilla, hazelnut, vanilla spice but I say just go with the original. That ish is bomb diggity. Move over frapps, Iced Capps are a worthy foe. A great caffeine fix. In a span of four days, I drank this one three times. No lies. And just fyi, they have doughnuts, oatmeal, cookies, sandwiches, soups, and a bunch of other goodies as well. Minus one star for not having any Timmy Hoes in So Cali! GRrrrrRrrr…
