I came to Whistler to go skiing this past week. While there I was on the hunt to find a place to carb up before hitting the slopes. This little bakery caught my eye while walking around Whistler Village. The aromas from the fresh baked bread and pastries were apparent right when you walk in. And the selections offered at Purebread are plentiful. To pair with the great bread/pastry selections were some great coffee and espresso options. I’m a huge mocha drinker and the mocha at Purebread does not disappoint. Got a mocha everyday I came in. In total I tried 4 different items during my trips here and can tell you, you can’t go wrong with whatever choice you make. It’s all good! This was only a three day ski trip, but I happened to go to Purebread all 3 days. While I was sad that my trip was over and I wouldn’t be able to ski anymore, I was also sad that I wouldn’t be able to enjoy Purbread anymore. This place is a must if you are on a trip to Whistler/Blackcomb. Can’t wait to make it back myself!

Awesome baked goodies of all kinds… try omg or adults only cookie for chocolate fix. Serving Portland’s best Stumptown coffee too!

This place is exceptional! Their baked goods display is a feast for the eyes. I wanted pretty much everything they had to offer, but we settled on the following: Lemon/berry cake slice Salted caramel chocolate cake slice Macaroon(as big as my fist! not the dainty French kind) Personal quiche One other chocolate coconut bar that I cannot remember the name of A latte The cakes were out of this world! They were so rich and flavorful and moist. The frosting was absolutely perfect from the consistency to the amount to the balance of flavors and complemented the dense rich cake beautifully. I just had a few bites of the rest, but each pastry was unique and full of flavor. We will be heading back to Whistler in a couple of months and we will definitely be stopping here for more sweet treats.

Fresh baked goodness that hugs you like a warm blanket on a cold day. Ventured in with a group of friends over the BC Day long weekend and walked out with our fair share of goodies! Make sure to try: The Crack, Chocolate Covered Banana Bread and Bread Pudding! They also sell Stumphouse Cold Brew Coffee by the bottle! My heart literally jumped for joy when I saw it! $ 5.25 — which may be a little steep for some, but I couldn’t stop thinking about it when I had a taste in Portland. Thank you, Purebread for being the icing on top of our amazing long weekend in Whistler!

Purebread is a cool little coffee shop and bakery that serves up coffee, espresso, and a wide range of baked goodies and sandwiches! We stopped in the first time one morning after breakfast for some caffeine. I ordered an iced Americano with room for cream. Drink was strong and delicious! Staff was awesome!

This is the best little specialty bakery in whistler. Amazing treats and sandwiches. Including a cheese sandwich the size of my head. It’s right in the village. The staff is amazingly kind and patient while you droll over the case of goodies. The only downside? They don’t take American Express but they do other cards. They even have Stumptown cold brew coffee to go. I would give them more than five stars since my I came back twice for the Crack dessert bar. That’s right twice. It’s sooo good.

I loved their pesto tomato muffin. The best savory muffin I’ve ever had. The perfect balance of cheese, pesto, and sun-dried tomato made me finish one and grab another for the road. When I come back to Whistler, I definitely will go there even before hitting the slope.

Wow! It’s a good thing I don’t live in Whistler! I can only have the GF variety of baked goods which is probably a good thing, otherwise I don’t know how I’d ever narrow done my choice. It was hard enough choosing between their flourless choices. I eventually settled on the flourless chocolate chip cookie… damn! That’s a good cookie! This will be my first stop the next time I’m in Whistler.

Go! Now! This place is heaven. Once we found it, we had to go at least once a day. We still dream about the delectables after our vacation’s over. The one in Whistler is a bit larger than the Function Junction version. The Dysfunction Bread is made from Whistler Brewing Company’s grains… terrific toasted with cheese. We love that they are open all afternoon for a coffee/cake snack!
