Nice restaurant at the hill top. Not crowded at all in April. They have some good options to eat — Thai, Mexican, American.

Alright let’s be real, this isn’t a 4-star establishment when you compare it to other restaurants, but all things considered, this place is really good and one of my favorite lodges to stop for lunch when I’m in Whistler. The Thai green curry bowl — yum! Their Thai-inspired bowl offers your choice of(chicken/pork belly/tofu) protein,(eggplant/kale…) veggie, and a base(noodle/rice/salad). I would recommend the chicken green curry bowl, served with a mix of all veggies, and on top of half rice/half kale. The green curry sauce is savory and satiating. The pork belly is a little too fatty, so I prefer the chicken. They also give you a ton of rice, so I prefer ordering it half rice, half kale. I really appreciated that they let you customize and mix multiple types of proteins and veggies. Skip the ramen — the noodles are overcooked, there is just a bit of way-too-fatty pork belly, and the broth is lackluster. p. s. The cookies at this location is not the best. My favorite was a white chocolate macadamia nut one in a clear plastic bag which can be found in select lodges — not sure why they have two vendors making cookies!

It’s kinda hard to review a place like this but I’m gonna anyway. Overall the food is ok and the view is one of a kind. If the food is better, it would have gotten a higher rating. We can’t really do much(i.e. complain) about price and it’s kinda fair as competition is slim and the restaurant is on top of a mountain! Go for: a break and enjoy a view that most people in the world would never get a chance to Don’t go for: if you’re hungry and you only got $ 5, as that only gets you a tea or fruit cup or gum. Water is free :)

Very nice food court where everybody can here what they want. Had the burrito which was enormous. Shared it with my wife and we both got full. Nice staff and beautiful scenery!

High end mountain top cocktails and food? You betcha! We had a good time, maybe too good a time, here! We sat at bar and chatted with the great bar staff. I had the special Crab Risotto and 2 of the Caesar bloody Mary’s. I could have two more too but had to ski back down. They are delicious. Great beer choices too!

They redecorated Rendezvous for Whistler/Blackcomb’s 50th Birthday. Somehow, even though it is still super busy and requires a bit of queueing during the busy time(after 11ish), it feels much lighter, brighter and roomier. The food service area is roomier too with tidy queues and didn’t feel so claustrophobic the times we ate there. I love the kids combo for a reasonable feast. You get a small(basically starter size) main and 3 snacks(a juice box/milk, veggies/fruit and a cereal bar/goldfish/chocolate pudding). It might seems like not very much, but none of us(my brother in law, my sister, my nephew and myself) actually managed to finish all $ 9.99 worth of food in one sitting. Erm, yes. No one asks why you’re buying 4 kid’s meals. My favourite was the thai bar, though I’m sad they no longer do pizza here. And yes, the food is surprisingly tasty here.

I’ve been coming here for years. They’ve done a renovation which is nice, and have some cool new soda machines and generally the food is pretty good. However, they have changed their French Fries, and that is tragic!!! They used to have the best fries, and the new ones aren’t even close. Maybe they look healthier, but we’re talking about a big downgrade. Our whole family was fairly dejected after eating here today as we had been talking about, and looking forward to the fries all week. Please bring back the old fries. Please. I’ll update my review if you do. I’m holding out hope that the other mountain restaurants haven’t changed too, but I’m worried. Thanks, A multi-year season pass holder and family.

I love getting breakfast here before a long day on the mountain! Their service is fantastic and are great at making small talk to keep the guests entertained. The food itself is typically pretty good. Over the years they constantly change the menu, personally my favorite in the past here was the french toast. Unfortunately they since have tried to uniformly serve the same breakfast foods at each lodge and the toast got cut in the process. However the vegetarian sandwiches are delicious(I had the one from roundhouse but I believe its the same). I also tried the pancakes here and was overloaded by food. I could have easily split this plate with two others, considering I was only able to finish half of it. They definitely should have piled more fruit on top of it, but I got around this by asking for a fruit salad as a side. The coffee place inside also has a great selection of choices and the prices are typical Whitler(can’t complain when you’re on such a beautiful mountain). When I get my food I make sure I get a perfect seat to view the village and valley below. It’s hard to beat this view on a clear day and it’s easy to get lost in its glory while eating your food. Once I was stuffed I hit the mountain for a great day on the slopes. At lunch this place gets packed, seating is hard to find and I recommend coming even later than 1 because of the seating availability. At lunch I had the Mushroom soup, it was beyond delicious. A bit pricey of course, but the flavor was spot on and perfect for a mid day snack. Don’t forget to hit the glove warming station downstairs before you head back for the slopes!

Had to write a review as we were so shocked at how good the food was at the lodge on the mountain… :-) Usually, we resign ourselves to crap food for lunch when we are skiing, but the Rendezvous Lodge was exceptional… lots of freshly made soups… the moroccan pea soup was fab and the veggie chili was one of the best we’ve ever had! Bravo! I wish all ski lodges were this good…

This was our home-base on the mountain during our weekend in Whistler. Rendezvous has everything you’d need while on the slopes: lockers to store a lunch, excellent hot food(did someone say chili, in a bread bowl!?), a small store to pick up toe warmers and extra gloves for those super cold days on the slopes, and apparently one of the best ‘on the mountain’ restaurants ever(Christines). If you are hitting up Blackcomb for the day, be sure to drop in for a quick coffee with Baileys break or even lunch!

Whistler has hands down the best dining options on the mountain. Healthy, fresh, local, vegetarian, and even gluten free options. Given that this«cafeteria» type restaurant is at the top of a mountain I understand the price. I loved the roasted vegetable chili, so good! Bring your own water/pop/snacks in a day pack but stop in here for a hot meal. Yes it gets crowded, but tables turn fast and it’s community seating so not a long wait. If you don’t like crowds, eat at 11am or after 1pm. I also love that whistler recycles and composts even at the top of the mountain, wish more places in the US were that way.

Solid for cafeteria food. Chicken wrap was tasty. Good vegetarian chili. Loved the breadbowls. Grilled chicken was done well. Prices a little steep.

If the lift ticket wasn’t already expensive enough, prepare to bleed some more. The facility was decently sized in the 1990s, but now it is simply too small. It took my friends and I 15 minutes to find a spot. If you don’t mind eating outside, there is a patio in the back that is a lot more empty than the rest of the establishment. The food here is ridiculously expensive. You’re looking at $ 12 – 20 for most items. The only way I was able to keep in the single digits was by having 2 slices of pizza($ 8.25), with water. The slices were pretty small too. One bonus — there’s free Wi-Fi there. Yay!

There is seating on the main floor and downstairs of the cafeteria. The best part was heaters along with walls which was nice to dry off/heat up some gloves! It can get packed but it didn’t seem to matter if we came after the lunch or during the lunch rush, it was always packed. People come and go quickly so it’s not a problem. It’s simple cafetria food, lots of soup/stew options. It’s convenient, and was always packed even after we waited to come back, we still managed to find seats. They also don’t mind if you just come in there and eat snacks you brought.

Get ready for cafeteria-chic on the peak of Blackcomb! In the early season, not all of your on-the-mountain restaurants and lodges are open yet so Rendezvous could potentially be one of your only options. Located just below the Peak 2 Peak gondola station on Blackcomb, Rendezvous is simple to get to. It is a tad dated yes but when noon rolls around and you’r hungry, it suits your stomach just fine! The day we visited Rendezvous, it was crowded, but not insane. I had some decent pizza and a side of fries to full my empty stomach. Of course one should expect the prices to be a bit high, this is Whistler after all. The bathrooms are downstairs and nice and big so you won’t have to wait. I have seen many ski resorts with sketch restrooms so this one is a relief! Service is friendly and even with the crowds, the check out lines are a cinch. The ski storage area is a bit out of view but get a lock to put your mind to ease. Next time I’m on Blackcomb I’ll be sure to give their Poutine a try!

Went to the cafeteria and got a Greek meatball pita which was ok. Adding chips and a drink brought my lunch to $ 17. Ouch. However, the staff were VERY friendly!

Rendezvous gets an extra star for nostalgia. I’ve been drinking their hot chocolates and filling up on their hamburgers and chicken noodle soups for the last(oh my) 15 years.(I’m really not that old, my parents just put my on skis when I was relatively young). Ski lodge food is always kind of meh for ouchie kinds of prices, but the soups are always hot, the burgers always juicy, and the hot chocolates always creamy. I don’t think I’ve ever left here NOT ready to tackle the slopes again. Plus, I saw Pamela Martin(the CTV news anchor) here!

Sure, it’s not as great as Roundhouse. Although I heard Glacier was better, but their selection wasn’t too bad. I split a Mountain size hearty mushroom and Taco Fish Salad( ) with my sister and it was perfect. The place does get crowded, but we were lucky to snag a table for 5 quick. The food as I said in my Rendevous review is better than Lake Tahoe for a ski resort, so I gotta give it up for these places.

The Rendezvous is conveniently located near the Peak 2 Peak gondola spanning between Whistler and Blackcomb mountains, making it one of the most highly trafficked locations during lunch time. Finding seating here was absolutely insane during peak hours, and our hero only managed to find a spot on the lower floor. As for the food, it’s fairly average, but everything tastes good when our hero is hungry after a couple hours of skiing. The burritos here are huge, and they have poutine as well! In addition to food, they serve a variety of bottled beer here, which easily facilitates inebriated skiing. PROS: — Glove drying machines located on the lower level. — Location is easy to get to from either Whistler or Blackcomb. CONS: — Way too crowded.
