Good food! Great prices! Place was clean, open-air. Servers spoke English. Parking available in front of restaurant. I enjoyed the fish ceviche and crispy red snapper served with fresh veggies & avocado. My family enjoyed their tacos and the taco condiment bar. Ended our meal with flan. Will return.

Found this place based on fellow Unilocalers. It’s a good mix of locals and tourists. You must order an assortment of tacos and put on your own toppings at the toppings bar. They had different salsas, slaws, limes, and your typical roasted onions and jalepenos. The table also had 5 – 6 different types of hot sauces. Choices a plenty. Fave tacos from top to bottom(although all were great): (1) Shrimp (2) Fish (3) Scallop (4) Steak Piña colada was also tasty but pretty watered down.

Excellent local spot where the fish tacos come from the mornings catch. Doesn’t get any fresher. Excellent steak tacos and fish soup as well. Wash it all down with a Cadillac margarita.

Tacos Rossy is nothing fancy, but it has some bomb ass tacos! We stopped here after our private tour. Hubs got grilled chicken and also flank steak with cheese, and I got 2 grilled fish tacos, every thing was on point! Hubs liked the flank steak better than the grilled chicken. They have a salsa/condiment bar so you can load up the tacos however you see fit. Total bill, including what our tour guide ate plus drinks(I had a Pacifico light, they had soda) … roughly $ 12USD. Sweet!

Great little restaurant with friendly service, great food and great prices. Shrimp tacos really hit the spot. Love the condiment bar with different salsas, chilies, coleslaw, pico, cucumbers, guacamole salsa, etc. We will definitely eat here again:)

I’m sorry but I was not a fan. Maybe because it was Monday so the cook was not feeling it? I’m not picky, I swear. Now, its MY opinion only… Let’s start good: I liked the flank steak taco(that’s it). My fish tacos were not to die for. I ordered a Cadillac Margarita and it was AWFUL(yes, CAPS). I ordered a side of beans and they forgot. I regret reminding waiter, because beans were so salty. PROS: clean, reasonable, air-conditioning, clean restrooms, big place. CONS: ASIDE my remarks, forgetful waiter(dang, still waiting for my fork!), no paper towels in restroom(what?), not best parking(people park behind you).

Thank you fellow Unilocalers for being so bang on with how fabulous this place is. I ate here twice with families native to Mexico who love it. Simple tacos with great emphasis on seafood and a bar in the middle of the restaurant with ALL the fixings. On the tables there is a red sauce in a plastic ketchup type bottle. I was never able to determine what it is but I am a huge fan. Fave tacos were are scallop, shrimp and steak varieties. Authentic mexican seafood dishes very good also. I liked this place so much I used it to cater a lunch(they also deliver until afternoon). There was a little mix-up and when I arrived the order was not ready and the restaurant(great AC whohoo!) was FULL. I truly feel the mix-up was my fault due to using purquito Espanol instead of English — which the servers speak with ease. Still, they had my order for +30 people ready in less than 20 minutes and provided me with a cold beer as I waited.

My favorite item was my Pacifico michelada — half the glass had ice and a spicy tomato based juice, in which I poured over my choice of beer. I added more hot sauce to kick it up a notch and was more than pleased. For tacos I suggest getting flour tortillas — they are really good, nice and moist. The only reason this place doesn’t get 5 stars is because the tacos come undressed. They had a great salsa bar, but nothing was labeled and I was overwhelmed, never having been there before. I would say less is more and taste the salsas before adding to the taco — some were not what I expected. Otherwise the best taco choice was the shrimp. Also, the map was wrong and we circled the block twice and had to ask a local where it was.

Great place for Gringos to get authentic Mexican food. Taqueria Rossy is full of locals and the wait staff was very patient with my poor Spanish. We had ceviche tostado, fish tacos, BBQ beef taco, shrimp taco and finally the scallop taco. It was all pretty good and putting your own toppings on made it perfect to get exactly what I wanted. For the cost, the food was excellent, so I’m giving a 5 star rating. I hope that getting the word out about Rossy doesn’t ruin the experience.

Not much to look at from the street, but it was packed inside(mostly locals) and we had a fantastic experience overall. Service was fast and friendly. Fish tacos(fried) were the best we had on this trip – really good quality fish and great flavor(and so cheap, around 16 pesos which is barely over $ 1US dollar). We also had some amazing guacamole(may not have been on the menu) which was a huge platter of freshly made chips and a generous bowl of diced avocado mixed with tomatoes, onions, etc – so fresh and perfectly seasoned and also a steal at 35 pesos(less than $ 3US dollars). We also tried the flank steak tacos which were also really good, as well as some ceviche. Great vibe, fabulous food at great prices, would definitely go back again.

Was first at this restaurant in 1997. Ambiance has changed a bit, but it has been kept simple, and appealing to its main customer base– the locals. The food has stood as a yardstick for what real and delicious mexican street food should taste like. In fact this hole in the wall restaurant has stood as my favorite restaurant in the world since I first set foot in there. I can’t say enough good things about this place, and I am looking forward to going back there in a weeks time.

If I were you I would wonder how a taco shack without much ambiance earned all 5 stars. They make the best tacos that I have eaten in San Jose or the nearby Cabo San Lucas. I consider this a destination in itself and a mandatory stop for anyone near Los Cabos. Taquería Rossy stands out for several reasons. It gets busy here and the courteous servers competently work the air-conditioned dining room. They serve many varieties of soda, horchata and beer, have competitive prices and even television. The real hero here is the food, I have enjoyed all of the meals that I have eaten. I especially love the scallop tacos, they are served naked with access to the extensive salsa bar. Spicy salsas help turn on the heat, just the way I love to eat them. You can heat up your plate to your heart’s content with several red and green varieties of salsa, crema, marinated jalapenos, cilantro and cabbage salads aplenty. Rossy is still a locals location, possibly because parking is tricky, or maybe because they are keeping it a secret. I would be selfish if I did not share my Unilocal love for this hidden gem with you too. I will see you there!

My most important thing in Mexico… AIRCONDITIONING! Seriously though, this place was everything you’d want from a local restaurant. Good food, great prices, local flavor, friendly wait staff. Can’t beat their shrimp, fish, or scallop tacos at about $ 2US each. Ceviche tostada appetizers at around $ 2US each. We were a group of four and our total bill was $ 55 for 3 appetizers, 12 tacos and 8 beers/margaritas!

It was a stop coming from the airport, we were so hungry ! We ordered fish tacos, shrimp tacos, scallop tacos and they were all so good. The parking was really tight, but the restaurant inside was really spacious and the servers were really attentive especially since we had dollars and they were nicely accommodating to that.

Our family loved it. We had 3 items each. My favorite were the grilled shrimp, scallops & chicken tacos. The chips were fresh and crazy good, served with fresh guacamole mixed with Pico del gallo. Service was great, friendly & accommodating! We recommend to all. Parking is tight.

Great taqueria with all the fixings. Fish and shrimp tacos will leave you wanting more and more. Clean, friendly and a must stop either to or from the airport. Coming from the airport, it’s on your right before you hit Pescador St.(Big sign). Coming from Cabo, make a u-turn after you pass Pescador. Don’t turn down Pescador, it can be a bit confusing.
