I’ve found a new, but dangerous, place to co-​work! Cool food café is located on the second floor inside BLOC and with generous tables, drool-​worthy cabinet food, eighthirty coffee and plenty of natural light, it’s an ideal alternative to the stuffy office.
PLUS Eight paws is right next door and you’re pretty much not human if you can resist their adorable dog accessories. I mean, they even have doggie sleeping bags…

This café is part of Bloc on Normanby Road which is sort of a collection of like-​minded stores such as World, Collected and Citta Design. To be honest I went there for the stores but when I got in I really fancied a coffee and there it was, my saviour! I just grabbed the coffee to go and drank it whilst I looked around the other stores, it felt rebellious but tasted oh so good! They also have seating for anyone wanting to stop for breakfast or lunch. In terms of their menu their motto is you dream it, we will whip it up, but they do have some ideas already prepared such as handmade crumpets with fried banana! Their cabinet food also looked amazing, offering handmade pies and sammies.
