One of Auckland’s most unknown gems: Auckland University’s Fine Arts librarys (part of the Elam school of Fine Art). This is the largest, and most extensive art libraries in Austral-​Asia. Say what? Pretty cray. Just looking at it, it seems pretty small, but about 60% of the books are actually out the back because they just can’t display them all (and they own a number of one off/​limited edition artist books far too precious for daily, public handling). A lot of the resources are also available online from a collaboration of e-​journals and international universities such as Oxford, sharing their resources. If you are into art come check out this hidden world! (and you don’t have to be an Auckland Uni student to borrows here)
