This is the younger sibling of the more established Kingsland branch (hence the «II» in the name); despite this it’s not any less capable than the older branch. The food is fresh and tasty without being over the top.
I’ve never been overwhelmed with excitement about getting food from here; it’s all totally fine, but it does feel like some things might be slight variations upon each other rather than being totally made independently. It’s all fine, but never somewhere I feel like I’d really like to go to, more just somewhere that can provide decent food, and is open later than a few other places around New Lynn.
