Sooo there have been some changes at Nadu recently.
As in, there are some new owners in town.
The good news: Kokako remains the bean of choice, the fresh juices are reasonably priced and they still make a mean anzac cookie (plus they’ve upped the food options, offering more options for pre-​made sandwiches and salads). BUT… no more homemade muesli (!!!) MANY.TEARS.
So yes, Nadu still serves up some great coffee and the atmosphere of the café is unchanged but don’t curse that Unilocal reviewer when you can’t get your muesli fix, you’ve been warned ;)

Desperate for a juice and in an unfamiliar neighbourhood, I found this place on Unilocal.I’ve walked around the shops on Nuffield St a dozen times but it’s right down the end where there’s no shops, towards those car dealerships.
The café itself is pretty tiny but what it lacks in size it makes up for in personally. There is a deconstructed bike on the wall, the worn concrete floor is painted in oversized black and white tiles and there is indoor vines growing up the wall. The duo working behind the counter were lovely and made my juice and coffee lickety split. I had an hour to kill before my apt so I perched at there high bar, caught up on the days news and watched the constant stream of people coming to get their morning fix. All in all, it was a great start to the day!

I love this wee café/​juice & coffee bar, it’s my daily fix and has a point of difference on an otherwise bland street food/​drink wise.
The coffee is amazing, they use Kokako beans and organic milk. The juice combos are winners too, and they use freshly squeezed apple juice in their Bircher muesli. The Bircher sells out daily and is so good I tried to emulate it at home!
My real vice here though is the macaroons in the glass jars at the counter. Amazing.
The barista makes the place, I look forward to going there for not only the coffee, but to talk healthy treats, juicing and general foodie tips. She makes Nadu a really relaxed, friendly place without the pretentious feel of many cafés now.

I really think this is the coolest café, the overgrown hanging plants are what do it for me, I’m not sure what is appealing about overgrown chaos but I really love it! I also think that the placement of the counter and kitchen (high up at the back of the café) is really cool and maximizes their space. They don’t have much seating here, I think there are one or two tables outside as well and a long bench running along the right hand side which would probably seat 8 – 10 people. The juices here are really tasty, along with their coffee, I use the post office next door regularly and always manage to find time to pop in for a beverage. Once I asked if she would make me a super green juice that wasn’t quite on the menu and she did! Which I thought was really nice of them and good customer service.

Combining two awesome things is a good idea. Coffee and fresh fruit juice, what a winning business model. Okay, I know what you are thinking, is it really convenient to sell both these things in the same place? Are there any situations where you need both these things at the same time? The answer is yes, emphatically yes. Perfect way to start the morning if you ask me, just rock it down New Market with a coffee in one hand and a freshly squeezed juice in the other. You may think that the two drinks might clash with each other. Let me tell you, they go beautifully together, mmm I just love alternating sips between juice and coffee.

This little juice and coffee bar is hidden at the end of Nuffield Street, I only found out about this place last year and decided to take the trip and walk an extra 600m to find it and it was worth the walk. Housed in a small narrow space, Nadu is more the grab and go sort of place. I was impressed though, the juice was really good, I had pure carrot, it was fresh, ice cold, the best carrot juice ever. Nadu also have Kokako coffee, so you can get your caffeine and vitamin hit in one place!
