A really cute, «organic» looking café slightly tucked away off Titirangi Road(its really close to the Hardware Café). The menu sounded really nice, I ordered the green chilli scrambled eggs with coriander, mint, spinach, and comte cheese with a side of avocado; a little more lumps of cheese wouldn’t have gone astray for boosted tastiness, but overall it was really nice. The roasted field mushrooms with whipped feta and hazelnuts is also really good; however, the Lemon crushed baby peas, grilled halloumi and tortilla crisps was a bit disappointing in terms of portion size and what I’d been expecting. It looked more like a small tray of finger food rather than a brunch. Also, I wouldn’t recommend the smoothies; they were pretty crap… too watery and not enough fruit flavour. Service was friendly and they were quick to get everything out

Vevo might be the newest part of the Titirangi scene, but it has certainly made its mark — winning Metro’s «best in suburb» award in 2012. Vevo focuses on its food, and they do very well — with simple, not overstated food but well cooked and not a long wait. The service is super friendly, with probably the funniest barista in Auckland. They have a good selection of cabinet food which is rotating constantly, so there is always something different to sample when you come in. It’s hard to pick a favorite café in Titirangi with all the good options around, but Vevo comes close to the top.

A newbie to the Titirangi village eateries this is a lovely addition and has quickly become popular. It is slightly hidden away out the back of the village near the doctors, but it is recognisable. The shop has a great modern exterior and a beautiful sleek interiors. There is ample seating amongst a simple layout. A long bench shows of the delicacies. They do great food and catering. I really like that they have really authentic items, quite deli like. Which is something completely new for the village. A sort of mix of a bakery and a café. They do great coffee too. Definitely worth a visit or two.

Vevo is a relatively new addition to Titirangi’s café culture, hidden underneath the doctors next to Masala. Although they don’t quite have the same stunning bush views as its competitors for patrons to enjoy whilst sipping their coffees, they still do make for a very good match when it comes to the high standard of food and coffee they have on offer. I had a delicious smoked fish pie, and the coffee we had was allllmost perfect(just a tiny bit too hot). The waitress was very knowledgable with all of the cabinet food, and made some helpful recommendations on what we might feel like eating. Cutlery could have been a bit cleaner, but other than that I don’t really have any criticisms — the food was good, the vibe was good, service was relaxed — pretty sure that Vevo will be here to stay in Titirangi.

Orange-scented buttermilk pancakes with orange and mint salad and maple syrup. SODELICIOUS. What more could you want? Absolutely divine. Great service from the friendly local staff, serving amazing food and free range eggs/bacon/sausages. This is a place that really cares about food — good food — and serving it well. It suits Titirangi. On top of their fantastic brunch menu, they also do rotating takeaway dinners, catering, and of course a selection of tasty treats in the cabinet. Who can resist the likes of yoghurt syrup cakes with passionfruit or lemon curd white chocolate brioche? I certainly can’t.
