Ich kannte das Lokal schon vom Naschmarkt und fand das Essen immer sehr gut. Gestern habe ich mir die Hollandstrasse angeschaut. Das Lokal ist angenehm auch von der Größe her. Aber keine architektonischen Abhandlungen: mir ist wichtig, dass ich mich wohl fühle (vor allem da ich fast ausnahmslos mit mir alleln zu speisen pflege). Zum wichtigen Teil: Essen. Ich hatte Sommerrollen mit Shrimps, ganz frisch mit Kräutern, sehr gut, die Sauce hätte für meinen (!) Geschmack schärfer sein können. Preis: € 5,20
Danach Bun no lui, Reisnudeln mit Rinderhackfleisch, Sojasprossen, Erdnüssen und Kräutern um € 10,90. Köstlich, frisch aus der Pfanne. Hab am Nachbartisch ein bisserl optisch und akustisch spioniert, sah alles wunderbar aus und machte hörbar zufrieden! Ich komme gerne wieder und koste weiter! Empfehlung

Wirklich gut. Wir waren zu Mittag dort und haben zwei der drei angebotenen Menüs probiert. Geschmacklich sehr gut, angenehme Größe der Portionen. Sehr freundlicher und aufmerksamer Service.

Sehr schönes kleines Restaurant mit Bistro Charakter. Freundlicher, aufmerksamer Service. Auswahl an Essen so wie ich das auch von anderen vietnamesischen Lokalen in Wien kenne. Für mich hervorragend die Sommerrollen. Einzig negativ aufgefallen sind mir die viel zu hohen Preise für Fleischspiesschen. Tja, und ein bisschen größer könnten die Portionen auch sei. Zu diesem Lokal kann ich einfach nur sagen Spitze. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, ohne dabei aufdringlich zu sein. Das Essen ist einfach großartig, angenehme Portionen, nicht überwürzt, kein 0815 Asian — Food. Alles was ich bis jetzt hier gegessen habe frisch zubereitet und einfach ausgezeichnet.

While walking around the Leopoldstadt area and checking out the nearby farmers market, I stumbled across this place. From the exterior it doesn’t look like much, but don’t let that fool you. From the very beginning, the service was great, faster than what I had expected. The first thing I had was some ginger tea and some spring rolls. The spring rolls were freshly made and just came out of the fryer, so they were still quite hot. They came with a side of nuoc mam (fish sauce) dip, which was nicely seasoned with garlic and a touch of citrus; not too salty but definitely not bland, either. Next came my main course, the phở, which was delicious. It came very hot, with a small garnish of lemon, tiny red hot peppers, and some plum sauce to dip your slices of beef in. The broth was rich and flavorful. Although this place is a little bit pricey compared to other small places, the quality of the food and the service was well worth it. It’s a small restaurant so it probably wouldn’t be ideal for large groups, but if you came with as couple of friends or colleagues, it’s just fine. There’s a German word to describe the place: «gemütlich».
