Habe mir ein Mal im Sommer ein Burger bestellt. War wirklich beeindruckend. Kann sein, dass sie der beste Burger in Wien haben. Um das zu bestätigen muss ich zuerst Verde und Lane & Merrimans mal besuchen ;).

Eines meiner Lieblingslokale! Besonders schön wenn man draußen direkt am Wien Fluss sitzen kann! Tolle Atmosphäre und sehr sehr freundliches Personal! Ich gehe zum Frühstücken oder für Geschäftstermine gerne dort hin! Das Essen ist hochwertig und vom Preis-​Leistungsverhältnis in Ordnung! Im Sommer ein absolutes muss!

Nach unserem gestrigen Besuch im Motto am Fluss kann ich bestätigen, dass man hier sehr gut essen und dazu noch ein schickes Ambiente genießen kann. Da wir die Möglichkeit über die Homepage zu reservieren am Vorabend wahrgenommen haben, was ich übrigens sehr begrüße heutzutage, wurden wir zügig zu unserem Tisch am Fenster mit einem tollen Blick auf den Donaukanal geleitet.
Das Servicepersonal war stets freundlich und bemüht allen Wünschen nachzukommen. Die Sessel am Fenster sind wahnsinnig bequem und laden zum Verweilen ein.
Während des Hauptgangs wurde es dann leider doch etwas kühl, da man die Klimaanlage schon ziemlich gespürt hat.
Das Essen war im Großen und Ganzen tadellos. Hier und da hätte man die Soße noch etwas stärker abschmecken können, aber das sind Feinheiten.
Ein Besuch lohnt sich allemal!

Das Motto am Fluss ist in café/​Restaurant beim schwedenplatz auf einer Art Schiff! Schöner Blick auf die Donau, Wunderschönes Styling, also das Café hat wirklich Style!
Das Personal ist sehr nett! Es geht auch einigermaßen schnell bis das Essen da ist! Das Essen schmeckt einfach göttlich hatte lang kein so gutes frühstück wie damals und die Säfte sind auch der Hammer!

Netter Laden am Seitenarm der Donau, der ein Schiff imitiert und in gediegener Atmosphäre gutes Essen serviert. Eine Reservierung ist zu empfehlen, sonst kann es gerade am Wochenende schwierig werden. Die Preise sind ok, manche würden sagen gehoben (4 Personen mit Getränken 125 €, nur Hauptgang). Der Service ist aufmerksam mit einem Hang zur Arroganz.

Der Abend im Motto am Fluss war eines der Highlights unserer Wien-​Reise. Wunderschön gelegen direkt am Wasser bietet das Motto am Fluss eine ganz tolle Atmosphäre.
Beim Essen übertraf ein Gang den anderen. Vom Rinder-​Tartar über das Schnitzel bis zum Schoko-​Fondant, ein einziger Traum. Wir freuen uns schon jetzt auf unsere nächste Reise nach Wien — welche nicht zuletzt dank dieses tollen Restaurants eher früher als später sein wird!

Das Motto am Fluss würde ich unter der Woche als der Business Breakfast Hotspot bezeichnen. Wer hier einen Tisch möchte muss unbedingt vorreservieren ansonsten kann es schon sein, dass man eine Stunde warten muss.
Die Auswahl der verschiedensten Frühstücken ist groß und auch zu moderaten Preisen. Ich hätte das Light House Frühstück mit Olivenöl-​Ei auf Babyspinat & «La Marianne», Gemüsesticks mit Zitronen-​Ingwerdip, Kräutercottage auf Urlaib.
Es zahlt sich aus

I love this place. If you are tiered of schnitzels and strudels you have to come here.
They have very good breakfasts. I like to have granola or steirisches omelet. A lot of desert variations. They bake cakes and pies themselves.
You can always find some interesting salads or sandwiches here. Highly recommended!
Just one tip. Make a reservation first.

Hier laden mehrere Ebenen (Café, Restaurant und ein abgetrennter Raum) zum Verweilen bei einem tollen Ambiente ein.
Ich hatte eine leckere, selbstgemachte Limonade und ein leckeres Schnitzel.
Sehr zuvorkommendes, kinderfreundliches Personal.
Meine Familie und ich waren dort im Winter zu Gast. Ich bin ‘mal gespannt auf einen Frühlings– bzw. Sommerbesuch.

Zentral in der Stadt gelegen, gegenüber des Schwedenplatzes, liegt das «Motto am Fluss». Eine Synergie zwischen, Café, Tagesbar, Restaurant und Club, auf meheren Ebenen, Innenbereichen, aber auch einigen Terrassen und Aussenbereichen.
Von aussen könnte man meinen, es ist ein Schiff, da es eine lange gestreckte Form hat, jedoch ist es ein Bauwerk, dass über der Kaimauer aufgesteltzt ist und einen schönen Blick auf den Donaukanal bietet.
Da wir zum späten Mittag dort waren, war nur das Café/​Tagesbar offen, jedoch konnten wir wählen, draussen zu sitzen unter Sonnenschirmen, oder im Inneren an einem langen Holztisch, eher eine Tafel oder an hohen futuristisch wirkenden Tischen.
Die gereichte Speisekarte war übersichtlich, nicht zu viel aber für jeden Geschmack etwas zu finden. Unsere Wahl fiel auf Burger, Schnitzel, Steak und Avocadosalat.
Bei den Getränken, begeisterten mich am meisten die hausgemachten Limonaden oder Wasser mit Geschmack in verschiedensten Kombinationen und allesamt extrem erfrischend und gut zu trinken!
Essen, kam nach angenehmer Wartezeit und wurde schön dekoriert serviert. Schnitzel rösch und knusprig mit welliger Kruste. Der Burger, eine riesige Menge, schön angerichtet auf einer Schiefertafel und vom Avocadosalat mit Rind, hätten zwei Leute auch locker satt werden können.
Gut, zugegeben ist es preislich schon etwas gehoben, aber für die Qualität die man erhält, ist es aus meiner Sicht in Ordnung.
Danach noch schnell einen Espresso und ein Glas Wasser, bevor man sich wieder in die Menschenfluten in der Innenstadt stürzt. Ein Ruhepol am Wasser, in dem immer gut was los ist, man jedoch gut entspannen und abschalten kann. Das nächstemal dann wieder abends in Restaurant um dies auch mal wieder zu testen! Bin gespannt und freu mich schon drauf!

We had the new years menu. It was really good but it was just way too pricey. But let’s start with the courses. There were 5 in total. We ate amongst other things fried oyster, caviar and beef filet. So far so good. The service was good. Not great but good. They forgot to bring me my glass of wine twice which is a shame. Considering the 130 Euro per menu we paid its not a definite recommendation. Don’t get me wrong the food was good but not 130 Euro good.

Really nice food in a unique modern setting on the water. The service was very good but the food even better — the bread was great then we both had the beef broth soup followed by the sweet potato gnoochi and the veal shoulder. The veal shoulder was something else, and served with a horseradish mash, so so good.

Motto am Fluss is a paradise on Earth. I cannot imagine my life in Vienna without having a coffee there now and then — it is personal to me, probably because this was the first café I visited after I had moved here.
My all time favourite is the café latte, freshly pressed orange juice and pancakes with maple syrup and orange cream. I love their pancakes so much that I keep ordering them and I never give anything else a try, and if I could, I would eat team all day long and then still dream about them!
The café is very cosy, it can be a bit crowded and loud, but still comfortable — especially if you get one of the booths by the window. Oh yes, a warning about those huge windows and glass walls — it can get very warm inside if the sun is shining.
A reservation is a must! — Especially on weekends.

We had breakfast at the café that overlooks the little Danube. There was not an English menu but the waiter explained the options to us and we were able to find something easily enough.
I had a breakfast sandwich with ham, bacon, Swiss and avocado. Egg comes on this normally, but I ordered it without. This was a lovely meal, with everything very fresh and satisfying.
My BF ordered smoked salmon over scrambled eggs with baby spinach. The presentation was beautiful and he really enjoyed it.
This place was worth the trip.

Had lunch here in the main restaurant because the café upstairs was full. They were a bit snooty upstairs, like «sorry we’re full» even though there were clearly a lot of tables, but downstairs they were SO great and friendly.
First of all, the bread is delicious and it is served with oil and a very particular vinegar which makes it hard to only have one (or two… or four) slices. They will bring you more bread (as much as you want!) so don’t fall into that trap (OK fine, do it anyway; it’s awesome).
They have a three-​course prix-​fixe which one of us did, and then we got the weiner schnitzel. The schnitzel in particular was noteworthy because it was more refined than most you’ll find (smaller, more delicate). The prix-​fixe was all super high quality fish and a delicious soup to start (I forget what the soup was called but it was great). The café au lait is enormous, more of a soup, and it has really delicious, thick foam. They also bring out great petit fours at the end.
They were so polite to us and the server kept joking around with us as we tried to use our German (which was terrible). That really made the experience great.

Eng: Good restaurant for breakfast. Coffee, croissant, and ham and eggs all tasted good. Their home made chocolate almond croissant is also very good, though a bit like a desert with the chocolate inside. Nice ambiance. Reservations recommended but not required.
Deu: Gute Restaurant für das Frühstück. Kaffee, Croissant, und Ham und Eggs (Schinken & Eier) alle schmeckt gut. Das hausgemacht Schokolade Croissant mit Mandeln war ebenfalls sehr gut, aber sehr süß und wie eine Wüste. Komfortable Ambiente. Empfehle ich eine Reservierung aber es ist nicht notwendig.

Tolle location vor allem im Sommer mit toller Aussicht auf die Donau. Service ist 1a, Ambiente außergewöhnlich, das Essen lecker und außergewöhnlich. Insgesamt ein gelungener Abend !

Me and my mother were on vacation in Vienna, and when we crossed the Donau, we saw this amazingly situated restaurant by the water. We had to see if they had a free table that evening, so we went there but we were told you have to reserve a table in advance. So we did that, and got a reservation 2 days after at 20 o’clock. So we finally went to the restaurant the day we had our reservation, and we got a table just by the water with an amazing view of the city. The menu card offered (all organic) salads, sandwiches and various dishes with rice — everything costs around 10 euros, quite cheap! The hot weather made me choose a light vegetarian salad with bulgur, and my mom chose a salad with watermelon and lettuce.
We also ordered 2 glasses of rosé wine, even though everyone else ordered the house lemonade, which also looks mindblowingly good — I was just not in the mood for lemonade, sadly. We were both so delighted with our salads! Wow, they were amazing! My bulgur salad was seasoned perfectly with an amazing taste of menthe and tomato, and it was filled with cashew nuts. It was also topped with 2 pieces of grilled lemon, which tasted so good. My mom told me that her salad tasted as if every piece of her salad was individually seasoned and oiled.
What a wonderful experience this was! Their cakes also look extraordinary. The only bad thing to say about this place is the loud lounge music, which especially irritated my mom — not me so much, though I have to admit it was quite annoying. But this place still receives 5 stars — and to your information, we reserved a table the next day too!

I went here with a small group and my first thought was «oh no not a boat restaurant»! But I was very surprised. The atmosphere was very stylish but comfortable. Service was prompt and the Food was tasty.

Wir haben hier im Restaurant unseren Hochzeitstag gefeiert und alles war einfach perfekt. Mehr geht nicht. Begrüssung freundlich, Tisch toll eingedeckt, Ambiente was zwischen Retro und Modern, die Karte modern mit vielen vegetarischen Optionen (ich empfehle die Weisse Tomatensuppe — kalt — Champagnerrisotto und on top of everything: Chocolate Fondant — mit echt flüssigem Kern.)
Service so, wie ich ihn mir vorstelle, es wird nicht gehetzt und immer wieder versichert, ob alle zur Zufriedenheit ist. Ach ja, ich habe vergessen, die Weinkarte zu erwähnen: Top! Sie haben 3 meiner absoluten Lieblingsweine, das gibt schon extra Punkte.
Geschmacklich ein absolutes Highlight und die Aussicht auf den Donaukanal hat auch was. Es gibt nichts auszusetzen, einfach perfekt.

…eine unheimlich schöné Eventlocation direkt am Schwedenplatz. Aufmerksamer Service mit Wiener Charme, der einem auch wenn die Küche bereits geschlossen hat jederzeit ein Stück seines Lieblingskuchens holt. Wir hatten hier ein tolles Firmenevent mit Flying Buffet. Essen sehr gut. Weine sehr gut. Service wie gesagt auch sehr gut! :)

Motto am Fluss is very popular spot for locals and tourists, and even Conchita Wurst, winner of the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest likes to dine here. So this was a spot I definitely wanted to check out.
This place is not hard to find — across the street from Schwedenplatz you will see that it is structured like a yacht over the Danube canal. Inside the restaurant, the ambiance and interior design is intended to look like Venice in the 1950’s whereas upstairs on the terrace and café it looks more modern, and clean.
According to their website, Motto am Fluss’s products and foods are organic and of highest quality, and they even make homemade bread and pastries. I have yet to try their Almond Croissant, but this is a specialty of theirs I will try next time!
Drinks vary from a large selection of coffees and teas to their homemade lemonades and soda. We ordered a Caffe Latte and Basil-​Lime-​Lemonade. The lemonade was pink and presented in a tall glass which to me looked very pretty. I was also surprised by how large both drinks were, as if we could sip on them for hours…
The staff at Motto am Fluss put a lot of attention to detail and how the food looks for you, which is probably why there are so many good-​looking photos of their food on Instagram –the food is meant to be photogenic! I got granola greek yogurt breakfast — it came with chia seeds, apples and strawberries in a ceramic bowl. Personally I found the granola not that tasty and a little burnt :/​
My husband got their «All day» breakfast sandwich with toasted bread, scrambled eggs, bacon, ham, cheese, avocado, tomato, lettuce and spicy Habanero Mayonnaise. This sandwich impressed my husband who’s into generous portion sizes and he really liked it.
If you are planning to come here, I suggest you make a reservation since this place is very popular and busy… but this is a nice place I like to take family and friends to…

Das Motto am Fluß bietet für ALLE Tageszeiten und Angelegenheiten den passenden Rahmen! Und das schaffen nicht viele Lokale!
Direkt am Donaukanal auf Höhe des Schwedenplatzes gelegen, ist das Motto sehr gut erreichbar und auch am Abend/​in der Nacht kann man von dort problemlos Transport heim/​woandershin bekommen. Im unteren Level befindet sich die Donauschifffahrt, ganz unten auf Donaukanal-​Höhe kann man sogar direkt in den Katamaran nach Bratislava einsteigen.
Der Bau selbst gefällt mir von außen überhaupt nicht, zu zackig-​kantig, passt dort nicht wirklich gut hin, meiner Meinung nach. Witzig ist, dass man das Schiffthema, wenn der Bau denn schon am Wasser liegt, oft nur sehr zurückhaltend und indirekt aufgegriffen hat. Alles andere wäre wirklich kitschig. So gesehen gefällt es mir dann doch nicht so schlecht …
Oben auf liegt das Café. Im Sommer mit großzügiger Terrasse ein idealer Platz zum Frühstücken. Im Winter kann man im «Wintergarten» sitzen. Meist ist es sehr voll, wer unbedingt hin will sollte wirklich immer einen Platz reservieren. Nebst vielen speziellen Tee– und Kaffeesorten gibt es französisch angehauchtes Essen, die Frühstücke sind reichlich, viel Gesundes dabei. Alles sehr gut, die Preise nur leicht gehoben, das macht die zentrale Lage.
Im unteren «Schiffsdeck» liegt die Bar und das Restaurant. Der Abgang dorthin ist nicht gleich zu sehen, wenn man das erste Mal dort ist, einfach fragen, wenns wer übersieht oder man geht über das mittlere Deck rein.
Die Cocktails an der Bar sind wirklich sehr zahlreich, feine neue Mischungen dabei, die Preise mit nur um die 10 € fast billig. TREND-​ZUTAT des Sommers 2015 ist übrigens Rosensirup! I *herz* it!!! Lecker! Ein Glas Wasser kommt automatisch zu den Getränken mit dazu (dringend nötig und für mich ein Muss in jedem Lokal), salzige Knabbereien aber nicht (ich brauche das nicht, aber es ist eigentlich schon fast überall Standard). Die 5 oder 6 Barkeeper des Abends waren höflich und unaufdringlich, obwohl sie am FR abends um 11 Uhr allesamt dermaßen am rotieren und werken waren, Hut ab.
Der DJ hat eine sehr gute Musikauswahl aufgelegt und die Lautstärke nur langsam erhöht. Top!
Der Restaurantbereich mit der riesigen Glasfront direkt auf den Donaukanal hinaus ist sehr schön und edel! Das Essen war geschmacklich wirklich sehr gut, mir waren die Portionen der Hauptspeisen aber gar ein wenig zu zwergenhaft und dafür dann auch etwas überteuert, aber na gut. Weinauswahl sehr fein, der Sommelier kennt sein Handwerk offensichtlich! Insgesamt auch das Dinner eine gute Investition in einen schönen Abend!

The place is definitely upscale, apt for a romantic dinner. The lights are dim but it gets a bit noisy to have a comfortable conversation …

I would not consider Motto am Fluss touristy, at least not this Friday evening. Motto is somewhat upscale and is frequented by business-​casual Viennese.
The seesaibling with barley and mediterranean veggies was good, but nothing special. The knuckle of lamb was big and came with a good amount of greens. As a side eggplant with too much cheese was served.
Service was pretty average, though I am still surprised by the blunt waiters telling us foreigners/​tourists that tips are not included in the price in Austria. This comes across as very rude and actually puts me off of paying any tip at all…

Ich war heute mit einem Freund im Motto am Fluss, in der bar abends. Und ich muss sagen: sehr angenehmes ambiente, eine Mischung aus lounge und bar. Die Cocktails waren ausgezeichnet und das personal sehr zuvorkommend.
Ich kann das Motto jedem empfehlen der einen after work drink bzw. Eine nette bar mit ambiente sucht!

Motto am Fluss! Wenn man mal selbst dort war glaubt man diesen Bewertungen einfach nicht mehr.
Es ging schon los das man unsere bestätigte Reservierung nicht mehr gefunden hat und uns denn nach längerem hin und her einen Platz direkt vor der Küchentüre zugewiesen hat.
Von Café Kunst verstehen die dort auch nicht viel denn ein Espresso wurde in einer übergroßen Latte Schale serviert!
Alles in allem ein Touristen Schuppen der durch gekonntes Marketing auf allen möglichen Plattformen Unwissende einfängt.

We were brought here by the Unilocal Community Manager who warned us, off the bat, that it was a little touristy. But honestly, I didn’t see it that way at all.
Now, granted, we didn’t eat inside the rest restaurant, because it was closed for a private function. But we did sit outside on the deck facing the water on a lovely day and had an excellent meal with great service. So I don’t know what goes on inside but outside, I’m a fan.
I got a really nice sandwich that was well presented and tasty. My travelling buddy (aka, my mom), got the legendary quinoa salad and loved it so much she made it when we got back to the states, and everyone loved it all over again. If I were to go back, I might get that again.
It’s a little pricy but not overly so and over all, an excellent spot to sit and eat.

Im Prinzip ist ja schon alles geschrieben worden, da fällt einem nix Neues ein.
Aber jez muss ich doch was los werden:
Ich war hier nur wegen Freundinnen aus dem Ausland um ihnen die schöné Seite Wiens zu zeigen, und die Mädels waren begeistert.
Abgesehen vom Ambiente und vom köstlichen Essen und Trinken, waren sie auch von den Preisen überrascht. Denn wenn man das Motto sieht, denkt man gleich das es nur ein weiterer überteuerter Schuppen ist. Aber dem ist — Gott sei Dank — nicht so!!!
Damals haben wir uns keinen Platz zuweisen lassen, somit hat uns die Kellnerin nach überreichen der Speisekarte nicht mehr beachtet und wir machten unsere Bestellung — nach guten 15 Min!!! — bei ihrem Kollegen. NO GO TOTALE!!!
Später war ich mit einem Freund hier und das hat das Motto den 5. Stern zurückgebracht! Denn wir wurden an einen reservierten Platz gesetzt und zu meiner Überraschung wurden wir dort belassen. Und die Kellner waren immer zur Stelle und super freundlich.

The food is a bit pricey, but I liked the All Day Breakfast Sandwich, consisting of ham, bacon, a fried egg, cheese, avocado, lettuce, and tomato on brown bread. It was delicious, especially with the side of habanero mayonnaise that comes with this order. As far as the restaurant itself, it’s quite OK. You may have to make a reservation since the tables seem to fill up quickly during certain times. However when I went, they still made the effort to get us a table anyway without a reservation, though our time was limited to two hours, which was more than enough time. All we wanted to do was stuff out face for breakfast and get out anyway! If you’re lucky enough to get a table outside, you can enjoy the views of Schwedenplatz and the boats going to Bratislava and beyond.

Grab a meal or drink next to the canal on a warm sunny day. Most of the time it’s crowded so groups should reserve but for couples you can be lucky to grab a couple reclining chairs and enjoy the shade during a hot summers day.

This trendy and chic restaurant is a great place to have a dinner in the warmer months. It is situated on the waterfront, with a lovely view especially at dusk or at night.
The food is really delicious, nicely presented, and the dishes are quite creative.
The dishes are carefully planned using predominantly seasonal and bio products, while not being overpriced and are thus accessible.

I was told this was touristy but it was an easy centrally located place to meet so we went anyways. I didn’t find it touristy at all, although if did eat at café’ and not inside. My quinoa salad was fresh and perfect for a light lunch. Service was pleasant and efficient. And located right on the river, it was wonderful to sit outside on a warm spring day. I would go again when in the area. And totally going to try to reproduce the salad!

Echt pompös sitzt es da das Motto — ist Name hier doch Programm. Na das kann schon verwirren. Von außen wars mir immer irgendwie zu schick vor allem unten das Restaurant. Das Café oben ist allerdings bei warmen Temperaturen der Hammer.
Mit tollen Ausblick über den Donaukanal nimmt man an gemütlichen Tischen normaler Höhe oder aber an solchen Steh/​Sitztischen Platz. Sehr gemütlich! Zu Essen gibt’s dann eine kleine Karte, die gerade für die Mittagspause echt groß genug ist. Mein Quinoa-​Avocado-​Salat war der Hit!
Preislich für den Schwedenplatz und die Toplocation eigentlich auch human. Der Service super nett und freundlich und obendrein hat mir dieser Besuch richtig Lust drauf gemacht jetzt auch mal das Restaurant im unteren Stock zu besuchen!

Sehr stylisches modernes Ambiente. Das Schiffsrestaurant überzeugt optisch. Das Personal ist attraktiv, sehr freundlich und kompetent.
Die Speisekarte ist mit zwei Seiten recht übersichtlich. Empfehlen kann ich als Aperitiv den Prosecco mit Salbei-​Limette. Die Rindsuppe und das Rinderfilet waren schmackhaft zubereitet.
Insgesamt eine Empfehlung für Leute, die österreichische Küche in schicker Umgebung geniessen wollen.

Ich muss gestehen, dass ich meinen ersten Bericht falsch zugeordnet hatte, der war nämlich fürs Café oben und nicht fürs Restaurant unten. Und für letzteres habe ich ausschließlich lobende, ja eher schon begeisterte Worte übrig. Ich fange mit dem Service an, denn das ist das Highlight: so freundlich, zuvorkommend und charmant bin ich in Wien glaube ich noch nie bedient worden. Das ist erstklassig und einen Glückwunsch an das ganze Team dort. Ich finds auch wahnsinnig sympathisch, dass man mit dem Kellner per Du ist und entweder die Leute dort sind wirklich gute Schauspieler oder ihnen macht die Arbeit wirklich Spaß. Dass dann ohne jeden Anlass eine gratis Nachspeise («ich kann nicht zuschaun wenn einer nichts isst») und zwei ebenso kostenlose Schnäpse draufgelegt wurden rundet dann nur noch den 100% positiven Eindruck ab.
Das Essen ist auch wirklich lecker, ich hatte ein Bioschweinsfilet mit Szegediner Kraut, ein Gedicht. Das Ambiente neben dem Donaukanal und dem mittllerweile ja fast schon herzeigbaren Schwedenplatz ist auch großartig.
Fazit: Für mich ganz ehrlich unter den Top 3 Restaurants in Wien momentan. Ganz großartig und volle Empfehlung.

Sinon côte café, 4euros le chocolat chaud c’est raisonnable, mais attention, pas n’importe quel chocolat chaud: ils vous donnent une barre d’un très bon chocolat autrichien au choix: noir, au lait, ou blanc/​cannelle/​vanille.
Aventuriere que je suis j’ai choisi celui à la vanille de bourbon !
Un délice, même si bien-​sûr il né faut pas compter les calories…
Sinon, nous sommes arrivées un samedi à 14h30 et cetait BLINDÉ ! Donc il vaut mieux réserver avant si vous voulez manger au bord de l’eau ;).

Situated by the riverside, Motto Am Fluss has both a café and a restaurant. We dined downstairs at the restaurant where service was pleasant and food was just ok. While they do serve a couple Viennese dishes, the menu is decidedly fusion/​eclectic and does not lean toward a particular type of cuisine.
Appetizer choices such as foie gras terrine, mackerel tartare, and raw oysters were decent but not outstanding, as were main courses such as venison with chestnuts and brussel sprouts, lamb sous vide, and veal stew.
This place seems quite trendy and more suited for drinks than for dinner.
