X-Celsior Caffe-Bar

Dieses Lokal hat noch einen Zwilling am Opernring, direkt gegenüber der Staatsoper, das eigentlich mein Favorit ist. Aber diesmal hat es mich in dieses Lokal verschlagen. Wenn man einen schönen Fensterplatz bekommt, sieht man direkt auf den Stephansdom, und auch die Fiaker die davor auf Kunden warten. Das italienische Lokal macht wunderbare Spagetti, die Speisekarte wird oft geändert, so ist bei jedem Besuch was neues an Nudelvariationen dabei. Man kann sich die Nudelsorte immer selber auswählen, Spagetti, Penne, Tagliatelle usw. sowie dann die passende Soße dazu. Der Preis ist in Ordnung für alle Nudelvariationen Euro 8,90 in dieser Lage direkt im ersten Bezirk. Das Personal sehr freundlich, auch wenn man noch etwas länger mit einem Buch sitzen bleibt. Also ich bin sehr gerne dort egal in welchen der beiden Location.
Da Nudel ja angeblich glücklich machen und ein Glas Vino dazu, bin ich dort öfters zu finden -:)))

Good food, good service, reasonable prices. It was a nice place to eat dinner.

Ein kleines Kaffeehaus am Stephansplatz, welches mir eine Freundin heute gezeigt hat. Ein Raucherkaffee im Parterre, wie es im oberen Stock ist, weiß ich nicht. Ein Pluspunkt für das Lokal ist der Kaffee, welcher stark und von gutem Geschmack ist. Das Lokal ist allerdings schnell überfüllt und man kommt sich schnell ziemlich beengt vor.

Service was poor. I asked twice, politely, in German for water and never got it. The food was alright (fresh vegetables you can’t go too wrong with). The husband got a Lasagna that was just a shade better than ok. I would say look elsewhere for lunch, cause there’s definitely better options than this one.

Terrible terrible place.
I ordered a risotto and when it came it was just friend rice with vegetable and VINEGAR on it! — what the heck?!. Not the round rice and not cooked as risotto!!! When I said it’s not a risotto, they didn’t know what I was talking about… And that’s an Italian restaurant!
My friend had a tomato spaghetti, the easiest thing to cook, yet it was just terrible.
Apart from it, the service was horrible, they added another drink to our bill ‘by mistake’, food took long time although the place was empty and it was very expensive. Don’t don’t don’t! It’s by far the worst food I ate four years. Worse than can food!
