What’s not to love! Mani — Pedi and a glass of wine… This place is the greatest. I was there on Mother’s day this year. Krystal was professional, friendly and a heck of a nail tech.

Fantastic place in Old San Juan. Best pedicure I’ve ever had with Crystal. She is very sweet, perfect English and gave an excellent service. Also had a one hour massage with a gentleman named Dari. It was really relaxing and he did a lot of pressure point massage. Very happy client!

It’s not your normal massage parlor, but great experience! Super relaxing. Highly recommended!

The only spa and cocktail lounge in old San Juan. Charge $ 1 per minute for body massage. Massuese for foot massage was very slow, light in pressure and distracted.
Noisy place. Waiting place is decked up where they serve sangrias for free too.
Wouldn’t recommend this one for massage.

Lots of love for this hidden gem. I got a 20 minute massage — and although there was a wait, I sipped on some free sangria. The staff is super friendly, and the massage was better than any I got in New York City.

Great spot; so glad I found it! I had Leesy and she did a fabulous pedicure. It was as thorough as the pedicures I get at home. The complimentary sangria was delicious and refreshing. They were able to squeeze me in on a busy Saturday morning without an appointment however you may want to call ahead. Highly recommend this place!

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED After a tiring day walking around San Juan in rain puddles, this was was heaven sent. It is right by the water in centre of down town by the port. Also close to taxi stand so i was able to get to the hotel without walking too much.
Enjoyed Sangria while my feet were worked on.
Same price as what i pay in California but with less massage and no polish drier.

What a great find in Old San Juan. First time in Puerto Rico and heading to a cruise tomorrow. Needed to get a change of color for my finger nails and I didn’t want to spend a fortune on the cruise ship to get a manicure. With a friend, trekked through old San Juan and found this little gem of a place. Brenda did a beautiful job on my nails. Took her time, chatted happily with me and even treated me to a glass of the most delicious sangria. My friend got a pedicure and she was also very happy with hers. Would come again. Very reasonable pricing similar to what I pay in San Jose, CA. Highly recommend this place.

Free sangria. Got a foot massage. Not the best but gives you a bit of relief from all the walking you do in san juan.
They have a sign — if you are in an irritated mood, we will charge you $ 10 to out up with you.
That was unnecessary and they could have just said we reserve the right to service.

Great view and location in old San Juan; much better pedicure than I get in the states at a similar/​lower price. Quick but excellent service and they were able to fit me right in. Decent polish color selection and the free sangria was absolutely delicious!

I loved it. Since entering until I left I was treated fabulously, it was my first time and the truth is that the first impression I got was great, super thrilled. Crystal attended me, a very kind girl her. I ordered a package that includes a pedi and a basic mani and I liked very much their treatment. Very clean and very dedicated to what they do. The service will include a free drink. I chose the sangria and it was very good. Very friendly staff and the atmosphere was perfect. They speak English and Spanish and the prices are very acesibles really surprised me. Happy to come again soon! We recommend: 3

This is the only place walking distance from the cruises port and the old San Juan hotels. I had Claudia and she was sweet and paid attention to detail. This is where lots of locals get their nails done. Not an overpriced spa for the tourist like in the hotels. They DO have shellac in hundreds of colors and they do acrylic also.
Follow the map and you can get there… its uphill in a row of restaurants and businesses at the very end with some outdoor seating. It took me 7 minutes walking from the old San Juan Sheraton right across from the cruise boats.
Same pricing I pay back home. About 25 – 30 $ for mani or a pedi. Everyone speaks English and the owner was very kind and very interested to know I was happy with the work. One prior review said the place was «run down» but it’s OLD SAN JUAN! Everything is old! Lol the salon is very clean and the work stations were clean.
Such a simple walk on the way back I didn’t use the map.

I skipped on the mani/​pedi when I came here with some ladfriends but I did hang out at the bar and drink as one does in a bar/​spa combo. Strange idea for a business but it makes sense! I love the view from the street in front of this place… one of the best views of the bay in VSJ. Had the opportunity to speak with the owner who was bartending… she was very nice and definitely needs to open PR’s first Phở restaurant!!!

Was in desperate need of a fill-​in as I’ve been in PR for a couple of weeks and finally found a spa that addressed my needs.
Anam spa looks like a bar upon arrival, you actually have to walk in passed it to see the manicure stations. Friendly service, I don’t think they do many acrylic nails there because it took a long time HOWEVER my nails came out gorgeous so I’m happy.
I took off a star because the place was pretty beaten down looking. No view of the water from the manicure chairs. And I didn’t get any free sangria as advertised. Still happy with my nails though!

I loved this place. My friend and I really needed our nails done and we went to some place in the non tourist area of Puerto Rico which was like the worse idea ever our nails looked like total crap. I saw this place and wanted to give it a try despite some of the negative reviews I wanted to find out for myself. This location is in the heart of old San Juan with a beautiful view. Don’t go here if you’re looking for a day spa that reminds you of one in Beverly Hills because it’s not a glamour looking space but it definitely has a beautiful vintage appearance to it. They do offer gel here and they do acrylic as well. The drinks are pretty good as well.

They apply the nail polish with no top coat, then the cash out was very lengthy for each of us. So slow.

BUT: the massage was not good at all!!!
My masseuse was either tired and overworked or just didn’t give a F*, because he did not apply any pressure at all, even after asking him too repeatedly. I basically got the massage strength of a small child.
Money gone for nothing. One of the 3 times in my entire life i strongly didn’t want to tip at all.

Review is for massage only. Total waste. I was promised a massage with strong pressure. Dari was inexperienced, and had no clue what he was doing.
Too bad. I wanted to like them.
No price list. They charged me $ 60/​hr. The 2014 version of Lonely Planet says it’s $ 40/​hr. They were charging $ 17 for manicures. I passed on that.
I asked around. The recommendation I got from others is to go to Condado if you want a massage.

This nail spa is connected to a bar and a free glass of sangria was included with my pedicure. Sounds good so far, right?
I called to see if they had any availability two hours before they closed today and was told to come in 25 minutes later. When I arrived, I was greeted and then was directed to the bathroom after I asked where it was located. After I came out, I was asked to pick a color (chose grey) and then shown where I would be sitting for my pedicure. There are no massage chairs here, which isn’t necessarily a problem as long as the service is good (it was okay).
I ended up waiting another 30 mins after I arrived for my service to start. The basin which was filled with a few inches of water to soak my feet ended up draining on its own. I then filled it back up myself only for it to drain again. I’m thinking at this point there is something wrong with the plug or that it’s so gentle that you have to be really careful not to knock it with your feet. I filled it back up a third time while I waited.
I was handed a menu and noted that their basic pedicure was $ 25 but they had another three levels that went all the way up to $ 60. I chose the basic pedicure.
Overall, my pedicure came out satisfactory but I would not call the experience above average.

Came here for a mani/​pedi for my aunt’s wedding this Saturday. I’ve had horrible experiences at salons at home in Texas, but everything from the staff to the view to the free sangria was perfect! Needless to say I left a very good tip ;) my only complaint is that it’s all the way over here in Puerto Rico!
