— Great food for a good price($ 10-$ 12 for a big dinner entrée) IF you pick the right things on the menu, as the pricing was really sporadic. For example, a chicken mofongo was about $ 17, but a crab and rice dish was only $ 12. — Food was super fresh, made to order, and with great flavor. It seems like a pretty authentic restaurant based on my experience eating around Puerto Rico for a week. Don’t let the emptiness of the restaurant fool you. — Better and cheaper than the food in the Caribe Hilton, and just a 1 minute walk away.

A good choice for food outside of the Caribe, with an interesting menu. Food is good, but service, like many other Puerto Rican restaurants is very nice, but super slow. Tried to get in here for a quick lunch, but it ended up taking much much longer than the 1 hour we had allotted. Food prices are not cheap, but cheaper than the hotel I think.

Just walk here from the Caribe Hilton, it’s definitely more affordable than the restaurants at the hotel. The ambiance is maybe not as nice but the dinner is just as good. The fried chicken, plantains, and monfongo(and trifongo) are all good.

This is really close to the Caribe Hilton, where we are staying, so it’s a nice place to get away from the hotel and get just a little bit cheaper food. The Puerto Rican woman who owned the restaurant ran everything. She had her two kids in there with her. She was the cook and server. It was a little pricey($ 40 for the two of us), but less than the hotel food. We had fried pork with rice, beans, and fried plantains. I usually love fried plantains but wasn’t really a fan of these. The rice and beans were amazing though.
