Floor Two Le Bar

Great bar/​lounge in a fancy hotel in front of of the Geneva lake. Good wine selection and tasty menu: had the Caesar salad with smoked salmon and it was fresh and copious.

good music, expensive drinks. located in kempinsky so convenient,. there is a nighclub downstairs as well

Food was pretty good, surprisingly so for a bar-​expect to pay for it though! I had a bottle of water, a salad with chicken and quinoa, and salmon with a creamy dill sauce. Bill was more than 80!
With that said, the food was good and the view was perfection! The fountain was beautiful from floor two.

Great lounge restaurant with fabulous view on the lake. We had club sandwich and cheeseburger, both very good.

Decided to treat ourselves for a nice meal at Floor Two after reading a positive review and looking for a place with a nice setting/​view. I decided to give it 3 stars because I think you can find similar quality at a lower price — you pay a premium at Floor Two to be in the Kempinski with one of the best views in town.
Setting is superb — very modern with floor to ceiling windows giving a great view of the lake and the Rive Gauche — the only let down was the the Jet d’Eau wasn’t turned on… I thin it’s probably nicer to go for a lunch to take full advantage of the view…
As mentioned in the other review, the service is very good — waiters were very attentive, professional and friendly.
Food was very good but slightly pricey — probably due to the setting within the Kempinski hotel. Menu is relatively small but full of interesting choices — I had scallops with chorizo and caviar aubergine followed by the lemon risotto with burrata. They do not have a dessert menu — instead they have a dessert trolley which is a nice throwback to classic fine dining restaurants. We had a delicious ‘croustillant de chocolat’ which was delicious — they used some ‘fleur de sel’ which added a very nice sweet-​savory combination

I haven’t given lately a 5-​stars to a restaurant mainly because no restaurants were able to meet my 3 standards of expectation at the same time beside my old favorite places. Even tho I am usually not going to eat Lunch or Dinner at the Floor Two Bar & Lounge, I am going to give them a 5-​stars! Here’s why…
Atmosphere ⁵⁄₅: You are located right next to the Jet d’Eau with an impressive panorama over Geneva and the rive-​gauche of the City. As you can see on the picture, the place has great lightings, couch and tables to have a Business meeting, work remotely from your office or just see a friend. They also serve Lunch or Dinner.
Food ⁵⁄₅: I don’t know about the different entrée but the snacks offered to us while we were working were FRESH and tasty! A real delight! Coffee and Drinks are excellent despite the price you pay for it.
Service ⁵⁄₅: Service is phenomenal there! I don’t think there’s one thing you can’t ask them. They’re really helpful and always checking that you’re doing good.
One of my favorite spot to work remotely with Free 4hrs Wi-​Fi, great couch and view over the Alps. What else…

Avant 11h le soir, bar lounge agréable et assez cosy.
Après 11h, se retrouvent des clubbers dans un endroit exigu, mal éclairé, qui plus est le fait de réserver des tables vous prive de choix et devient anticonvivial et très bruyant.
Le fait est qu’un tel endroit n’a à priori rien à faire dans un Palace,àcôté du Lobby.
Il serait mieux placé en liaison directe avec le Java Club, cela né décevrait pas les personnes qui cherchent convivialité et confort cosy
Mais on comprend que d’autres apprécient

Vue imprenable sur le Lac depuis la terrasse en été si ce n est la plus belle. En étage on domine le petit lac et c est un plaisir en été mais bien souvent la foule festive en été se déplace directement sur le bord du lac ou les terrasses locales ayant accès direct au lac font concurrence au Floor two.
Tres souvent la foule du vendredi ou samedi soir est celle que l on retrouvera au Java et qui se donne rendez vous au Floor two avant d aller danser.
