Un rooftop c’est toujours motivant et quand on arrive en haut et qu’on a cette vue sur le lac on est conforté par notre choix. Côté ambiance on sent qu’on est rue du Rhôné et dans «a place to be», mais la jeune équipe est très sympathique et efficace au service (sauf la personne à l’accueil j’ai failli faire demi tour).
La carte n’est pas très grande et manqué peut être d’originalité mais les produits sont de qualités et très bien travaillés, ce qui reste l’essentiel.

A great view of Geneva from the roof. Cocktails are a bit pricey but the wine prices are OK… Some bottles are cheaper here than other places in Geneva. Not sure about the food as I really didn’t see anyone eating. It might just be a drink place…

The rooftop has a wonderful view, great ambiance & a hip selection of tunes. You should definitely try the cocktails, far better than most bars in Geneva. Only drawback is the food. Then again, why would you go eat there? I decided to commit that fatal mistake and boy was I in for an expensive disappointment! The risotto didn’t have any white wine or if it did, it definitely lacked in taste and the vegetables seemed like they came from a frozen packet. For +40 francs… it was THEFT! I won’t get into the other dishes that my friends had, my comments would digress very quickly if they haven’t already.
So for a fun night out with friends, strongly recommended, just remember to eat before! :-)

One of the only rooftop bars in Geneva, Rooftop 42 provides gorgeous views of the lake, Jura, and the city. The cocktails are expensive at 24 CHF but a glass of rose is only 12 CHF which is a good deal in Geneva. Perfect for warmer evenings as the inside area isn’t anything special and the outside balcony is where the great views are appreciated best! We went at 7pm last night and were able to enjoy a table.

Simply one of the best place in Geneva to have a cocktail! Wonderful view over the city, lake included, cool atmosphere and amazing cocktails. Be prepared you are gonna pay for all of these things.
Suggested for the warm an long Summer evenings, less for the Winter even if it looks great inside it cannot match the scenery you can appreciate outside.
