Good location, Average Sushi, Small Portions, Go during happy hour only. This is located in a good location one block off Rive Gauche. The sushi train is entertaining, but the portions are very small and very expensive. Each plate has about two pieces of a roll or two pieces of sushi, and can cost between US$ 5-$ 10. There is a happy hour after 7PM when the sushi is half price, which is still expensive. Normal price is just plain silly. During happy hour, the average person will get 7 – 10 plates, and spend maybe US$ 50. Don’t bother during non happy hours.

We love the place and keep coming back. We have tested other sushi places but they are more expensive and not as friendly. At such a good quality/price ratio we love it. The salmon sushis are the best to my mind, I love the salads, and can only recommend the friendly service from long time ladies. The owner is very often there and looks after every detail. Yes quality is not the top and some sushi are made in moulds but overall we are satisfied with quality.

Yuck. I kind of expected this place to be bad. Even then, I was disappointed. Knowing Geneva, I figured that the 50% sushi happy hour would pretty much put prices at regular US levels. That I WAS right about. The initial glee and anticipation that arises from seeing an actual model train chugging through a track up on the bar plummets when you get a look at the cargo the train is carrying. There’s so much that is wrong about the food that it’s almost useless to go through each one. Discolored, dried-out rolls that you can’t even distinguish as salmon or tuna, because it’s all similar shade of pinkish gray. Rice that tasted like it’s been in the fridge for a day or two. A meager selection that has maybe ONE type of nigiri, with the rest being rice-heavy rolls. There’s plenty of mediocre sushi around Geneva. Don’t trouble yourself with the one where you have to actually put in an effort to pay attention to your tab as you eat bad food. Oh, and there’s an obligatory drink order if you want to take advantage of the special prices. The only reason this place gets the extra star is because at least it has the decency to slash it’s overpriced menu in half during peak dinner hours.

My 9 yr old daughter loves this place and she been coming here since she was 3. The little train bringing the prepared sushi around is entertaining. The Nigiri are machine made, with way too much and compact rice. The Maki’s are acceptable and the only sushi I take. The seaweed salad is good and the special order tempura is also good. All in all an ok place to have a quick sushi like dinner. Since they started their evening happy hour the place is loaded in the evenings.

Pricey, small portions & service is NOT like in Japan i.e. courteous and efficient.

This is a very average Sushi place! The train goes around very fast, the choice of Sushi is limited and when u want some more of a different kind they tell you«there are none left» this proofs that the Sushi aren’t as fresh as what you expect from a sushi place! Furthermore the rice used doesn’t look like traditional sushi rice but more like a sort of basmati rice! I don’t recommend this Sushi i bet there are better Sushi places in Geneva!

While not the best sushi I have ever had, it’s not the worst either. Decent variety and quality. Normally, I would say this place is over-priced, but they have«happy hour» in the evening(starts 7:30/8-ish) where everything on the sushi train is 50% off. This makes dinner there quite affordable by Geneva standards.
