Gutes Restaurant. Die Gourmet Küche beherrschen Sie, Klassiker wie ein einfaches Schnitzel funktioniert aber leider nicht. Darum ein Stern Abzug.

This is the most informal spot for a quick coffee and croissant within the Fairmont Montreux Palace Hotel…
And for that, I thank it! Sometimes I just want to sit with my coffee and croissant (and plate of Swiss chocolates, as it were) and start my day. Not huge fanfare or huge amounts of meats and cheeses or a sitdown restaurant.
So I enjoyed the little portion of La Brasserie that’s right off the main reception area of the hotel. Plently of spots to cozy up and sit, table service and a very clean restroom should you need one.
Oh, and that plate of chocolates… but of course. For the croissant and cappuccino it only set me back 8 CFH, which I considered a deal after spending 5 days in Switzerland.
