Hotel Bellevue

This is just what my boyfriend and I needed before beginning our hike around the area! Their food here is amazing and hearty; something to fill you up before you embark on a gorgeous, yet exhausting, hike around the Berner Oberland area. Great views, great service, great food, and a great setting. Glad we chose this place after walking a little further from the station we got off at, so it was a little less crowded. Come here for a pint, and a hearty meal and you won’t regret it hours later when you’ve been hiking!

My wife and I spent 3 nights at Hotel Bellevue. Very nice hotel, great location and very clean. Excellent dinner menu, nice selection of wines, and very nice morning buffet. Lobby was a nice meeting area for other travelers, really enjoyed the opportunity to share stories after each day’s activity. Ruth and Othmar are excellent hosts. Also, have a limited number of umbrellas and walking sticks for those interested. Look right behind the lobby door. We will stay with them again. If you happen to show up during the Jungfrau Marathon, you can cheer for Othmar too.

Hotel Bellevue in Mürren offers very nice rooms at a competitive price! We have stayed here twice and have always had a wonderful time.
Ruth and Othmar Suter own and operate this charming hotel. Their staff is also friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for Mürren, with sweeping views from the rooms and the open patio, where meals can be served. They have the towns only coin-​operated laundry service, which is a big bonus for travelers coming from other places. This is open to the public, so sometimes there is a wait to use the machines.
Some room packages come with free breakfast, which offers a delightful section of breads, cheeses, fresh fruit, and sliced deli meats.
Anyone coming to the Bernese Oberland area should seriously consider a stay at the Hotel Bellevue in Mürren. You won’t be disappointed!

We’ve enjoyed 2 stays at the charming Swiss hotel called «Hotel Bellevue» in the car-​free village of Mürren, in the Bernese Oberland area of Switzerland. Our rooms on both visits had wonderful views of the Alps! (-; (Note: there are several unrelated hotels with the same name, but this one that I love is in Mürren.)
Breakfast is included, and in good weather, we enjoy eating outside with a view of the Alps! A small coin operated laundry room is available for guests to use, which we find convenient.
This hotel is reasonably priced, for Switzerland. There are no elevators. The hotel has a good restaurant, which always features local game, for meat lovers, as well as options for everyone (fish, cheese, vegetarian, etc). On Friday nights they have a BBQ!
I love the «rustic Swiss» atmosphere at the Bellevue. Mürren is also a great location for access to mountain walks.
