Pizza was decent, just be careful of the olives they were not pitted. A bit pricey for pizza but everything is pricey in Zermatt.

Thin crust pizza, cozy atmosphere. She ordered the margarita, me the fungi. Both were tasty. Fresh garden salat. Feldschlossen on tap. It was pizza and it was solid.

As far as Zermatt goes, this is as good as it gets — a cosy and relatively affordable family-run restaurant serving tasty, authentic Italian food. That’s all you need to know, really! They have their regulars and it’s nice seeing the kids run in to give their mum /grandparents a hug. It’s like a refreshing slice of normal life in otherwise ridiculous Zermatt.
Forget Grampi’s (please, I beg you), this is your Italian restaurant of choice. You’ll be glad you came, trust me!

A cab driver suggested to take us there after our first option was booked out. We joked that he’d probably take us to his mom, but his suggestion was in fact superb. The pizza is pretty much the best I ever had (including a lot of pizza I ate in Italy).
I don’t remember what we paid, but if price is an issue, Zermatt is not the place to spend your holidays at.

We ate here twice and will probably do so again. Thin crusted pizza that sizzles in wood fired oven. Pasta dishes great as well. Reasonably priced for Zermatt.

Our second time at this wonderful restaurant. This time, the owner knew us by name. And in the best tradition of Italian hospitality, the Limoncello was on the house. This time, we tried yet more of their awesome pizzas and a plate of frutti di mare fettucini, along with another bottle of excellent Valais red. Service was impeccable. Impressive
