Ok food and a plus that they have salmon for breakfast. Coffee is great but eggs are rubbery. It will get you by in a nice atmosphere while waiting for next flight.

If you enjoy fancy square chaired overpriced caviar smoked salmon champagne places, then you might fancy a pre-flight meal at Center Bar. After all, how shameful would it be if another stiff suit professional spotted you eating a cheap sandwich over at Marche in the Zurich Airport — surely your professional career would be over. But of course, that wouldn’t be the case hence the fact you are reading this review. Interestingly enough, Center Bar serves Asian-esque food that you can also enjoy as you sit near the large windows viewing the beautiful airfield scenery. UN-interestingly enough, was the food itself. Eating the edamame was a bit difficult as it was so over cooked that the skin would peel away on your fingers or at the tip of your mouth. Perhaps it would have been best to spend more time cooking the noodles for the Spicy Noodle soup as they were definitely too hard. Also, the soup would more appropriately be called«Even spice virgins won’t taste any spice in here Noodle Soup». To add to my disappointment, the gyoza were cooked in a bamboo steaming, but with nothing on the bottom. All good Asians know that you need to put something like banana leaves or even wax paper on the bottom so whatever you are steaming doesn’t stick to the bamboo itself. Each unfortunate gyoza I carefully peeled from the bamboo steamer, suffered irreversible damage. I might come back here to have overpriced beer as I people-watch the herds coming down the escalator, but never again for the food.

Too much noise and very little substance that’s what we say where i come from when what you buy is definitely not worth the price. They are trying ot market this place as an upscale oriental — caviar — smoked salmon restaurant-café-bar. Sounds very confusing ??? You should try their menu. Seems that they have a dish from each part of Asia. Limited beers and drinks mostly focusing on expensive Champagne … Somehow i get the feeling that they have mixed up the first class lounge with the departure hall. I had tried this place on the past few times and it was way better and far more relaxed. Price wise … Well if you have money to spend in the airport for caviar then i would suggest you spend them in the duty free
