Si vas a San Sebastián y queres comer con una vista impresionante este es el lugar. Si es caro pero la comida es rica y el paisaje mas

I’ve been there with my girlfriend. The views are awesome but the service was not as good.

My husband and I had spent the day enjoying the wonderful beaches of San Sebastian and decided we weren’t quite ready to head back to our hotel just yet. So we got a few snacks while admiring the water. I got tea, he got a gin and tonic. We shared some rather tasty fried calamari and an unexpectedly delicious tortilla with chorizo. Prices were touristy and the service perhaps could have been better, but we were enjoying ourselves too much to notice all that much.

Great views of the beach from both inside and outside(where I sat). I enjoyed breakfast/brunch here two days in a row. The first day I missed the breakfast specials(served 9 am to 11 am) but ordered an espresso and double-decker omelette. The espresso was a bit bitter for my taste but it was still a great meal for about 6 euro. Then, today, on my last day in San Sebastián, I came around 9:30 am and had the Spanish omelette breakfast. For 7 euro, it included a slice of omelette, coffee(I chose and Americano — still bitter but a bit easier to drink), fresh orange juice, and toast with olive oil and tomato sauce. I enjoyed the olive oil and tomato sauce on the omelette! I had a table right above the beach outside. I would have stayed longer but I needed to pack up and leave San Sebastián unfortunately.

Honestly, if I could have given this zero stars I would have. I have nothing bad to say about the food because I didnt have any of the food. We arrived and sat on the patio overlooking the beach. There were two waiters, but none were attentive. When we asked for a menu the waiter snapped at us and said he was busy. It took about 10 minutes for the waiter to pass us by for a second time and we happened to get the menu from another table he had just left. After looking over the menu it took another 10 minutes for him to return to our table. When I asked about an item on the large menu he gave me a disgusted look and said the kitchen was closed. We order some food, but the waiter continued to be rude to us and other guests so we decided to leave. When we went inside to tell them to cancel the order the waiter and the bartender were yelling at each other in front of the guests. Needless to say this was one of the worst displays of service I have ever seen!!! If you want to have GREAT pinchos at a great price and still have a view of the ocean walk about 50 meters to Narru. That place is amazing and I havent had a bad pincho. We had 4 pinchos and two beverages for 18 euros.

The Café de la Concha was conveniently located right in front of our hotel in San Sebastian, and was our spot for pre-beach dining and relaxation. With a perfect view of the Playa de la Concha, handsome clientele and delicious food, life seems pretty perfect here. They also have free wifi with a very wide bandwith — muy importante for international travelers. One afternoon, the three of us each ordered their seafood pasta salad. Portion sizes were enormous. So big, we could have probably shared one order. A bed of crisp romaine lettuce was topped with cold fettuccine noodles, delicious smoked salmon, Spanish tuna(this is not your typical«Chicken of the Sea»), crabmeat, shrimp and shredded carrots. Dressed with a light vinaigrette, this is the ideal beach food — fresh, crisp and light. It’s also diet friendly if you eat around the pasta. ;) We had several bottles of Txakoli wine here(local Basque country wine), as well as their deliciously refreshing Txakoli Sangria. Service was hit or miss; seems to be the norm in Spain. So grab your beach towel and head to the café before you get your tan on. Don’t forget your sunscreen!

Amazing location for Playa de la Concha beach side dining and imbibing. Sure, it’s a bit touristy, but anything with this kind of proximity to the water is going to be. You can’t beat the stellar panoramic view, so those looking to steep it up in the sun while in San Sebastian will certainly be here. Expect a lively terrace vibe with super tasty morsels and uberyummy drinks to match. I especially loved the Txakoli Sangria — an amazingly effervescent departure from the typical red and white only options — as well as the killer seafood pasta salad. Loaded high as the sky with fresh, crisp lettuce, diced bell peppers, beautifully prepared cold fettuccine, shrimp, salmon, tuna and baby eels, it was the salad of the Spanish Gods. Truly. The plate was bigger than my head and I ate the whole the damn thing. Soak up the sun, soak up the seafood, it’s all good at Café de la Concha. Bonus: FREE Wi-Fi with the best bandwidth we found in all of SS. Score!
