Quiet… So quiet… A lot of old German people. Bungalow is old but ok. Employees are nice, but the receptionist is very bad at English this is a German place for sure. Food is average, kind a like cafeteria. Not enough luxury for the money. I only give this place 3 stars because of the nice people who works here. Good service from waiters and cleaning personal.

«Let’s go a bit more upmarket» I still hear those words and have since decided that going«a bit» upmarket is false economy Sandy Golf is part of the Green Golf resort complex. It has a ‘funky’ round lay out with in the centre of the complex the heated round pool. Why did we went for this, I know exactly why — because in the past few years we had cheaper bungalow resorts in Maspalomas and we were missing small luxuries like; sunbeds, fan, kettle and the all important toaster. We also wanted a little guarantee of peace and quiet. No screaming children, no drunken hen parties and rowdy Spaniards. So with a little extra few euros per day we could go to this quiet, resort that doesn’t cater for children — they are allowed and catered for in the Green Golf, but not in the Sandy Golf. We also were very pleased with the kettle and toaster. So what was wrong? Everything else. and this was due to the ‘be careful what you wish for’ karmic ruling. It was quiet — TOO quiet. This place was built for geriatrics. You could smell the blue rinse in the air. It was convenient for the pool. Sure but no entertainment around the pool — there NO pool seating or buzzing atmosphere. It was a big round(heated) pool with old people swimming/paddling. The bungalow had everything, but NO privacy, you could not walk around in your undies or naked as your neighbours opposite and beside you and people walking past your residence will see you and say hi. oh so friendly they were. But all I wanted was a little private sunbathing and constant acknowledging people when you venture to the patio is not my kind of holiday. but hey. we had a toaster. we could make use of the bigger resort of Green Golf and that is were we spend most of our days. But. the water in the pool was freezing. They had a restaurant — self service buffet for the all inclusive and very confusing who to pay and what to eat and when. Lucky we were self catering, but the first night was a bit hit and miss on what to eat and how long it was out there already. To their credit it was all very clean, and all the staff were friendly and helpful. But we should have taken a choice on a different resort. — We have now decided that privacy outweighs having a toaster.
