What a cozy, quaint place in the cold weather. Lots of candles! The staff was very friendly and the beer was good. We just stopped in for a drink but the food looked amazing and big portions. The view is to die for and a great place to take pictures looking over the city below!

I came to visit Prague for 2 days with no expectations or even a thought that I would enjoy myself. On day 2 I found myself so enlightened by the scenery and inexpensive beer. This is a true delight. I read the reviews about the bad wait staff but honestly you’re in Europe and with a view like this, there is no rush. I caught myself drooling over the scenic landscape and the laissez-faire lifestyle. A true must see in Prague.

CAREFUL! Ripoff Restaurant!!! Waiter tried increasing our bill. I overheard table next to us get their check total verbally, thought that was odd. Then a different waiter was at our table, delivered check total to us verbally at 1,400 Kr, seemed high, I asked to see the bill, it was only 1,157. $ 8.00+ extra, I gave him 1,200 and he turned and walked away taking the difference without asking, probably mad I caught him. 2 times, 2 waiters is a problem. Tip was already in total. STAYAWAY great view, with average food.

It’s all about the view. Food is not the attraction here, it is a super super view. It’s right by the Monastery and once you’re done with coffee, drink or food you can just walk down to the castle and then walk all the way down to the Charles bridge. Beautiful spot to start your trip

As others have said, the view alone is well worth the price of admission. The panoramic views are really incredible and this place is easy to get to via mass transit. The food is nothing remarkable, in my opinion, but fine and not ridiculously priced.

We stopped in for a casual lunch, and the view alone is worth at least one star(maybe two). The restaurant sits high atop a hill and has a panoramic view of the city of Prague, including the Lobkowicz castle. While the day was hot(about 90 degrees), there was a cool breeze and an umbrella over our table, thus keeping us cool. Our lunch was a simple one – we were in the mood for a good old hamburger by this time in our trip, and theirs wasn’t half-bad. Had it been cooked a little less, it probably would have been better. The beer was cold, the service was very good, and the servers were very friendly. Like most places we visited in Prague, all the service personnel speak decent to very good English, and are anxious to learn more of the idioms of our language. This restaurant was reached easily by taking the #22 tram from downtown to just below the restaurant and then walking through the little bit of a town there before reaching Bellavista. It’s worth a visit if for nothing other than the view.

If not for a long wait for ucet, this place was fantastic. It’s pricey, no doubt, but with a view of the Prague Castle and the city, that more than makes up for it. The view alone is worth it. As for the food, it was surprisingly good. Wasn’t expecting much but was happy with the mistake they made when they brought out a roasted pork loin with baked potato and corn on the cob. The pork was moist and juicy and flavorful. I didn’t order it, but I sure did eat it. My friend got the grilled sausages and they were delicious, too. Couple that with a Pilsner and you have a nice meal with one of the best views in Prague.

We had an awful experience here. With five of us in our group, we went towards a table that would hold us all, but one of the staff said«No, you will sit here». Putting us right beside the only other occupied table in the outdoor area, which was a bit odd. Especially for the couple who were having an intimate dinner there. All the staff then ignore us. We were clearly not the clientèle they wanted. So we took ourselves and our money to Sr Norberts around the corner and had very good evening there instead. The contrast between the staff here and at Sr Norberts was huge. As the name suggests, it maybe a bar and restaurant with a nice view, but the staff were very unpleasant and unprofessional. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
