Nice enough place although it has its faults. The initial room we were in was massive with a great big bathroom and four poster bed. However there was an equally big air conditioning unit just stood in the center of the room. I cant tell you how loud this was it was crazy loud. which was a problem as it was blooming hot so we had to have it on. Location wise its great for the castle and only a short ish walk into the center. There’s no facilities really in the hotel so this is a bar bones hotel. Room only. There is a café next door which was ok just. You can have breakfast there if you want. There are a few shops nearby for drinks etc and there is a fridge in the room to keep them in. We actually ended up across the road in the other green lobster hotel which on the website appears to be the same site. But its not and its rooms are also a lot lot smaller. Very confused by the website, we thought we had upgraded to a better room but it turned out to be disappointing indeed. It also had a massive air con unit but it took up half the room this time. So its not bad but make sure you know where you are staying as you could be disappointed.

Daily trip to Prague and one night stayed here was great experience. The hotel just suites at the foot of prague castle. Friendly nd kindly staff. My room is located on the top 402. The room is a loft room and big enough. Nice stay ! Anyway i will recommend to those who wanna walk to the Prague castle in the morning and see the Prague from this hill views. Just five minus you will achieve it.

Overall it was a good stay. Extremely convenient to the Castle. Really couldn’t ask for a better location in Prague. Our first room was really really lovely, for a standard room. Massive bedroom with a lovely four poster bed. And a massive bathroom too. There was no bath, but there was a great big window sill to put all your toiletry bits. We decided to book another night in Prague before we set out on the trip, but opted for an executive suite for this last night here in The Green Lobster. The photos looked so fabulous. However when we moved to the executive room for the last night it was a let down. Moving our stuff to their building across the street, we found a smaller main bedroom and a smaller bathroom. The bed wasn’t four poster either — huh. OK so there was an additional box room, a small yard area, a bath and coffee-tea making facilities. There was no shelves in the bathroom either. Seems trivial, but got used to the shelf in our first room. TVs in both hotel rooms were nice flat screens. There was AC too, but boy were they noisy. Bring earplugs if you are here in the summer. The last night took the shine off what was going to be an excellent stay. If the executive room wasn’t discounted when we booked, I probably wouldn’t be so generous with the stars.
